Is it a set with the lights built in?

They break pretty easily, I'm not gonna sit here and preach about one single light as being the best, but the ones you bought, are worth every penny if you catch my drift.
If you're just getting into it, they're perfectly fine to learn with, but you'll find that gloves with individual lights are just easier to work with.
Plus if one light breaks, you can replace it, where as, the ones with the lights built into the gloves, you have to replace the whole glove if one breaks.

You also lose a lot of customization options with a built in set.
Can't change bulbs. For a lot of people, thats a pretty big deal. But hey maybe not to you.

The built in sets are usually not as bright also, and with the gloves, the brighter the lights, the more epic the trail your light leaves. :)

My final point for now, is that the lights are on the finger print. Not pointing straight out, so you lose a lot of effect.

I'm not trying to make you feel dumb or talk shit or anything, i just want you to make sure you get some good lights mang :)

Socalthizzn did the same for me.

No totally I feel ya. I know I can't customize, but its my first set and I wanted to get a cheap on for the first time. That kinda sucks about the finger print thing, but idk maybe I'll be able to move and re glue them or something. But anyways thanks dude I'll be sure to hit you up when I buy an actual set :D

Hey Nationofthizz i know you know a lot about lights. Even though i have been giving shows for a while and am pretty good, i just want some info if you have it. I already ordered some KEK because i am so sick of my 2 year old inovas which are too bulky for my taste. Have you heard anything bad about them? So far from videos and stuff they seem to be nice sized and good. But do you know if they break easy or anything of that sort?

They're pretty good lights,
If you're serious about gloving you should check out http://www.throwlights.com
Those guys know their stuff.
In fact there was a thread started with in the last day or two talking about all the different lights and housings and stuff.

From what I've seen, KEK's are just as long as inovas, but a little narrower.
They're also water and impact resistant. So, if you treat your lights like crap or are just rough on them, I'd go with them.
If bulkiness is a concern, I'd go with micromaxes. Those are narrower than a quarter. Made for gloving and they look sharp as hell. But they do take smaller batteries than most other lights, so therefore the life is shorter.
Every light has it's pros and cons.
For example, if they were more affordable, I'd have ravns. But, they go for $20 a piece. And I'm not down to pay that much for gloves. Pro: bomb light. Con: price.....

But back to your original question.
KEKs are created with gliders in mind where inovas aren't. So I'm sure you'll see some sort of improvement just because of that. And I haven't heard anything bad about KEKs. Ut then not too many people have them to be completely honest.

message me

I usually shoot up meds that can be, like i can take a 30mg roxy and get 4 to 5 shots from it, sure its not as intense if u shot half or a whole at once but it makes my pills last so much longer. I dont really know anyone on this site but if anyone is near Indiana send me a message. Dont really have any true friends, my social outlet is this computer. So someone give me a yell, so we can swap are trials and tribulations. My face book page is Under Chris Bradford/ [email protected]
