Lifting weights while high

Post about lifting weights while high.

Weed: Makes me lazy, end up doing a rep less or whatever. Smoke after.

Dissociatives: I go well over where I should be when I do this, I enjoy but probably not ideal. Last night I did the leg press stack (300lb at my room) for 3 sets of 30, normally don't do anywhere near that. Also hit my current high for bench, I had a back injury for a few months so not the highest I've ever done or anything.

Amphetamines/uppers: heart rate gets too high

Opiates: no effect

Benzos: avoid due to muscle relaxation

Alcohol: I don't drink bad for testosterone, I would never lift while drunk when I did.
 
Back when ephedra (ine?) was legal I used to take 2 pills of that and then smoke a blunt with a trainer before working out. Got to not the best shape of my life doing that. Nowadays however, I'm an old mfer and can't go into public after smoking pot :/
 
Interesting thread.

Weed: Makes me lazy in general which pushes me to work out, very much enjoy lifting while on weed, normally start my day off with coffee and a bowl of quality bud and then lift.

Opiates/Opiods: I lifted for a while before I got off suboxone and made little to no gains, the effect suboxone and methadone had on my testosterone was severe.

However I notice no negative effects with lopermide or PST and both of those actually give me a huge boost in my workouts, drinking lots of PST seemed to help bulk me up and I've read about lopermide lowering cortisol levels. Did this for a little over a year and continued same gains as sober better in some cases due to being able to push harder.

Ive pulled my back lifting on benzos years ago and never would do it again nor would I consider anything stronger than ephedra as a stimulant as I really push myself and don't want any increased blood pressure or heart rate. I've lifted on lsd and instantly quit as I realized it was a total waste of time lol.
