Dreams of reality fill my mind,
diseased thoughts are all I find,
forced inside by the pain of life,
can't escape this horrible strife,
to run, to hide, to fear and hate,
these turmoiled thoughts will not abate,
I've seen the void, its time to end,
its not over it just begins,
deeper, deeper, it pulls me through,
shows me things that must be true,
theres more to life, just out of reach,
so much more that school can't teach,
so much more, we cannot know,
so much more, it wants to show,
our minds, our shadows are intertwined,
this truth we seek but never find,
we search the sky for answers bright,
we forget the world beyond our sight,
the world within, the world without,
this world that time forgot all about,
a world of mystery, of wonder and awe,
this beautiful world, showing no flaw,
with fear we enter, with sadness we leave,
for it has shown us the way to believe,
so much to see, so much to learn,
the moment is gone, I must return
--------------------------------------------
Just a small poem I wrote while thinking about many of my choices and decisions regarding psychedelics and my own life, hope you enjoy it.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
