There is so much to life that no one can fully appreciate or take in everything it offers. Life is big; it's beautiful and mysterious. Some see life as a mystery. But is life really a mystery or just something we haven't figured out for ourselves yet? I believe life presents itself and its so-called mystery to us at the precise time we are ready to embrace it.
In my view, I think religion, particularly faith-based religion, is the most significant hoax humanity has ever created. I don't know the truth for certain if there was anything in the beginning as far as teachings or instructions about self-growth or understanding truths greater than what was already known; through the years and countless interpretations, that way of knowledge has been grossly perverted into what we call religion today.
If what I say has any truth to it, it is really a shame what we've done to ourselves.
