My fathers death inspired me to write this poem, hopefully to give at least a small amount of hope to anyone who may be experiencing a great deal a pain in their lives. I hope you like it.

Through pain, thoughts of hate and sorrow, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

Through cloudy futures and failures, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

Though life's a mess, through all the tests and trials, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

When you're on the ground and being kicked and ridiculed, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

Even when you feel the world may be against you, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

If you loved and lost and feel that you will never love again, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

Pain is part of life, it's just a learning curve to test our limits.

If you ever feel like giving in and that you cannot carry on, let it go and know...

Life goes on.

Love all of those around you, regardless of the hate, just let it go and know...

Life goes on.

For every man will falter, shed a tear and cry, we all have our own problems. But let it go and know...

Life goes on.

We all are touched with life, a gift that keeps on giving.

And though we know the strife, life is worth you living.

Whoever you can guide, you can be a shoulder for their cries.

Live everyday with love and never hate inside.

We all have our own problems, we all cannot relate.

You never have to say a word, your presence makes it known.

Nobody can replace to me, all the love you've shown.

So before you feel like giving up, remember why you're here.

Even if you're sad today, someone else may hold you dear.

Everyday remember this, until the day you pass.

Life goes on, and your memory will last.

Life goes on

Painful as it is at times :\

It's a lovely tribute and certainly expresses positive sentiments in relation to loss... something which I find can be hard to do!

Thanks for posting this one.

This is really powerful and a wonderful tribute. I'm sure your father would be so proud to have a child with such strength and insight.
