I don't know what I'm doing here in this place.
Every second, every day in this never ending race,
Toward a goal that cant exist,
And a fate that I resist,
Because someone told me that's the way,
That we do things around here.
It's not the way its meant to be I shout and scream.
When asleep I am alive and the real worlds a bad dream,
That crushes every pure thought,
That I have told and been taught.
I wish the world would take a breath,
And let the dreamers reign free.
Yesterday the world, it stabbed me in the back.
Today the world forgot, so ill forget, now back on track,
To a path that's never been made,
And as I walk behind me fades.
And ill forget all the hurts of yesterday,
They are gone now so what's the point.
Tomorrow it always daunts me with it's unknown fears
But the world doesn't know those fears so why shed the tears.
Just be strong and take a leap
Ahead a day, a month, a week.
It doesn't exist, tomorrow has never been
Why worry about a day that'll never come.
The only thing that's real in my dreams and in my mind
Is that moment right here right now, just let it all unwind.
The past is gone, it wont come back
The future is not white and black
Stop worrying about your anxieties.
And breath in the life we have right now.
