I already made a thread which someone closed saying seek medical advice which I clearly already have. They said it was alcohol withdrawal when my limbs and body parts were cramping inwards and being uncontrollable at the doctors. The doctor gave me librium to safetly withdraw from the alcohol. I have been taking the librium in amounts I have seen fit to keep the symptoms at bay and then a few times recreationally when the symptoms stopped.

Should I taper off the librium or will 18 10 mg capsules not be enough to send me into further withdrawals. Don't close this thread cos doc just gave me librium and didn't know much.

I won't take posts as gospel so don't worry about harm reduction by closing the thread and sending me to er. Would just like some input from people who may have experience rather than proffesionals.

Also I've been taking my librium in large doses and then small doses dependant on how much I feel I needed. So I haven't been tapering. Just wondering, should tapering really be necassary with 18 10 mg capsules.

I was initially prescribed 21 10 mg pills and went through them. But then went on a drinking binge and felt those weird symptoms again so got another 18 about 3 days ago and have only 3 left.

Edit: About 5 days ago. But like I said, have been dosing sporadically with random amounts.

so you took them for alcohol withdrawal.
then went on a drinking binge.
then abused more librium.

Sorry man, I can't offer any advice besides seeing a doctor.

and have only 3 left.

Makes no sense. How can you taper with only 3 pills left anyway?
