I tried meth for the first time 9 days ago, i only snorted it.
I went on a 5 day binge and havent done any since.
I had no feelings of withdrawl or sleeping problems or anything like that. Just really reallt wanted to do it again. But my bf cut off my sources.

Now finally i can obtain it again and just the thought of doing it makes my heart race and me feel panic-y.

does this happen to anyone else??

It's a normal case of classical conditioning.

Pavlov taught a dog to salivate when ringing a bell. He achieved this by ringing that bell every time he brought the dog food, and once the food was discontinued, the connection between the bell ringing and food still caused the dog to salivate when the bell ringing was presented alone.

You've have an association between drugs and excitement, so even without their presence, or specifically when you think about them or know that they're arriving, you feel excited.

A documentary on national geographic showed that users of several different drugs with different pharmacological profiles can trigger the same chemicals the drugs do, only by thinking about them. Something which was linked to this phenomenon.

This is just one explanation though, and there could be other things at play. I certainly feel that way when I know drugs are on the way, or think about drugs, to the point I get stomach cramps. Others I know get the need to evacuate just through smelling a dollar bill because it reminds them of cocaine, and the laxatives that are usually present in it.

HAH i told you he/she was on meth!!!!!

as i said before, get some sleep, eat some food. ugh hold on i will copy and past

stop doing more meth dude. wait it out until you can fall asleep. take some vitamins and force yourself to eat sme food. afterwards try to get sleep.

laCster brother, I think the OP is asking if anyone shares the feelings that arise when expecting a drug of choice. I don't see where she indicated she wants to quit or that she even has a significant problem. Stay on topic pal.

You are correct, Chromophobia, i was just gonna stop trying haha.

Bc i haven't even been doing it that long, or a lot when i do it, for that matter. I was just curious how other ppl felt.
I know how to control myself in terms of sleeping when i need, or forcing myself to eat when i have to. I most definitely know my limitations.

Sometimes i get really excited when Im about to get some dope. its almost like being on it.

Yeh its totally a thing. I'll go for weeks/months without but as soon as I know its on its way those minutes are the longest I ever feel.
