Kandi kids are a variety of ravers that you see. Lots of beads, bright colors, kid stuff.
Kandi are the bracelet and necklace things the girl in the picture has. People give them to others or just trade them. For most its just a simple gift and a memory of a party that goes along with it. Some are simple and others took someone hours to make.
Its rare that you meet someone who will give you one of those that took hours.
Its like a 3 inch cuff that has a turtle that will squirt water, a girl i have seen at other parties but never really talked to gave it to me at a smaller party. She is a kandi god.

kind of. I generally remember the people who gave me them. Ones that i put work into, go to special people.

and do note that most of us don't wear anything close to the amount we do at raves on any other occasion. I don't normally wear them, and i know some people who wear a least a couple smaller ones....

I think its a nice concept that really is what makes mdma such a special drug and helps remind us all that there is more to mdma than just getting fucked up.
Instead of using the drug to get off your face, it can be used as a means of enhancing friendship, communication and meeting new people and swapping ideas and ideals.

I remember sitting on the bleachers at Monster Massive In LA last year, just overwelmed by the whole scene. I was rolling so hard on molly but the whole environment caused me to stare blankly at the crowd and just zone out.
This girl came up next to me with her friend and offered some to me. It must of appeared as if I was having a bad trip.

I have more scattered about my room and some more in my car, but yea.
Some of these i have made, some of the others were just given to me.
I might give the first cuff to the left to someone over new years.... People have wanted the turtle from me. The other cuff was one of the first ones i made, its not great but its still one of the first ones i put much work into.
and for a laptop webcam photo, it turned out pretty decent.
