I have a Trader Joe's bag full of kandi....Taking it out's only gonna make me want to go to the next possible rave though, and I'm taking a break T_T

When I get a chance to make headbands for EDC I'll post pics of them...Gonna make a mokona modoki and a daisies headband...
 
I need to go pick up some more beads. anyone have any suggestions? I want more of a selection. I've gone to Michael's and Joanne's so far.

Stoned: Go to Berger Beads. They are near the fashion district downtown. I just got 2 bags of 1,000 varied pony beads (they call them crow beads), and there are SO many different colors, and they're very bright and shiny. I'd suggest getting more than 2 bags though, because for every cuff I've fallen slightly short of one or two colors, because the bags came with SO many different colors.

www.bergerbeads.net --> go to Plastics. I would suggest buying online and picking up at the store, they don't have all their beads on their sales floor.
 
This is about 80% of my kandi. A few were damaged last time I rolled and I haven't fixed them yet, and I'm also working on another upper-arm cuff as we speak.

dont have pics but my friend touched my heart with some kandi today believe it or not! he gave me his first kandi he ever got when he first started raving 5 years ago, it was given to him by an old school raver who had made it in the late 90's and is his most sentimental one he has :D it made me so happy it's almost hard to describe the feeling. This kandi has been in circulation over 10 years and has an amazing history !! ahhh had to let that out...

Well, you would have to a) travel to an event here in SoCal to meet up, and b) have an equally sentimental kandi to trade. That was the first cuff I made. There's a pixel kitty on the other side :)
