I went with my Mum round to the neighbour's on Christmas morning for drinks.
The neighbours are church people and don't do drink.
Except at Christmas that is.
So I had a sherry.
She's generous is the neighbour, so I was handed a water glass full to the brim with sherry.
Nuff said.

Have you ever been made to drink a pint of egg nog, three Cherry Heerings, Baileys and grapefruit juice.
Describe your most horrible xmas drink experience in this thread.
If you had to be hospitalized we need to know if you had your stomach pumped.

Grandpa's Apple Pie. Nothing is worse than me stumbling over myself at Christmas. I had to excuse myself before I gave them more reasons to harass me.

Peppermint schnapps, a few days ago. gross as hell. for some reason, i was forced to drink this madness, and had a hangover that lasted well over 24 hours haha. no stomach pumping, thankfully.

Eggnog is a sweetened dairy-based beverage made with milk, cream, sugar, beaten eggs (which gives it a frothy texture), and flavoured with ground cinnamon and nutmeg; alcoholic versions also exist with the addition of various liquors, such as brandy, rum, whiskey, advocaat and/or Baileys Irish Cream.

WikiNog

....

I have never heard of it made with any other type of spirit than rum. It is pretty tasty, if you can get over the raw eggs part :\

Apple Pie? Like the holiday liquor my dad makes??? If that is, man thats good stuff for getting you nice and festive!!!!

Yup, grandpa is an alcoholic so he has it around and I drank some last year. Kinda knocked me back a bit. Had to stop before my family had too much ammo for making fun of me...

Bailey's and grapefruit juice?? Wtf?? Sounds like a recipe for curdling your stomach! 8o

I have a little bottle of massage oil with pine tree extract in it.
My in-laws bought it in a supermarket in Austria thinking it was a liquor they had never tried.
Occasionally I can foist a little off on a suitable victim by telling them it's a special cold cure.
It's about 90 % pure alcohol, and it sure stops you feeling the cold.

i had a pretty good drink today:
half & half, baileys, frangelico, stoli vanilla vodka and toffee sauce over ice
expensive though...

Ooh this sounds amazingly sweet and delicious. Probably not the ideal beverage for a humid 35C day, though.

I think I should archive all of the posts within this forum and dust them off again in our Winter time. Then I'd actually be able to put them to some good use! :D

As usual apple pie, made with everclear but NEVER tastes like it showed at grandpa's. But I wasn't allowed more than a couple baby sips cause I had to drive. Bf gets all paranoid...

family christmas tradition, vodka filled watermelon. Pretty much trashed after 3 or 4 slices. First time my brother joined in on the eating and after an hour and a half he was hugging the toilet for most of the day! No stomach pumping though
