If I jump off of Suboxone without tapering (currently taking 12mg (I was on 16 last week)), after being on it for less than 3 weeks, how bad of a detox do you think I will face?
I suggest you taper way lower than 12mg, most dr's suggest jumping off at 2mg, but most bluelighters taper down to .25mg before jumping. You have the right idea of wanting to get off it as fast as possible, but if you've already been on it for 3 weeks, I think its too late to just jump off at 12mg with little to no withdrawals..

it will definitely be more managable than harder opioids, and i'm saying this from personal experience. the downside is that it will be a little longer.
The thing is, is that I wasn't even put on it for maintenance...just for pain relief...went to some institution and they put me on it and it does me no good...tramadol works better IMO sadly...
I was gradually titrated up from 2mg 2x per day to 8mg in the morning, 4mg at 2pm, and 4mg at 8pm in 9 days, then I dropped to 12 on my own in a couple days without issue...
And I've been on less than 3 weeks...I started titration on Jan. 3...
That's why I'm asking if I can just stop taking this shit...
You went from tramadol to bupe? Man your doctor must be retarded. That's just so unnecessary, especially since bupe is very strong and yet not that great for analgesia (pain killing).
You could drop the dose very quickly. Cut it in half every day or every other day. You could go from 16mg/day to 8mg/day with very little withdrawal. The lower the dose the harder it gets
If you have to just cold turkey, it'll be hard. But it won't last too long if you're only on 3 weeks. Get lopermide!
The institution kept me because of what I've been Rx'ed in my past...I was just on tramadol because that's all my psychiatrist was gonna give me until I could get into a pain management facility.
