I have done a lot of browsing of the threads on ecstasy/mdma/mda discussion and there's a lot of discussion on how ecstasy used to be so much better. Like from 1985 to 1991 the pills were always 200mg to 300mg and had people rolling for 4 hours straight.
I am also familiar with all the discussion on how these old phenomenal pills possibly contained MDE, MDA mixtures or amphetamine. I have seen posts by old ravers who ask the question as to how the old pills would make them roll for 4+ hours, while mdma powder today (molly) does make someone roll, but not nearly for 4 hours, more like 2.5 hours at the most.
I find this to be the case as well. Molly for me on one dose, with no redoses would only last a MAX of 3 hours. I'm talking eating crystals, btw.
I was thinking, could the fact that mdma came in pill form, could this have an effect on the length of the roll. I have seen all kinds of pills in my days rolling, from crumbly ones to "pharmaceutical grade" pills that are pressed very densely and hard. Could these dense pills take a considerably longer amount of time to break down in the stomach, and therefore be responsible for the effects of those amazing pills that had everyone rolling hard for 4-5 hours or even longer off just one pill.
BTW, I am familiar with the fact that mdma works best on a young body vs an older body.
I have probably rolled about 50 times, and I definetly never lost the magic. I have taken breaks lasting longer than a year. If i take molly crystals, which is what I have access to mostly, I do find that I need to redose during the evening, but I often redosed with pills as well.
I was just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on if super dense pills could be a sort of "time-release" like mechanism similar to purdue pharma Oxycontin pills when taken without being crushed up.
