Lemonade & methadone ideal temperature and storage conditions

Hi all,
I am thankfully on a methadone program and have been clean for almost 12 months. My question is this, I have earned takehome doses at my clinic and only have to go once every 2 weeks. The problem/question is this: the clinic I go to dilutes the methadone (blue kind) with lemonade mix and by the end of the two weeks I feel like my dose doesnt hold me as well as week 1. It's not horrible or anything and I don't want a dose increase because I am going to start my taper soon, but I'm curious if the lemonade is breaking down the methadone over time? My questions are:

1. What is the ideal temperature range for methadone? Would putting my lockbox in the refrigerator cause the methadone to degrade or become unstable from cold temperatures?

2. Does lemonade mix or other acidic juices break down methadone if left for too long?

3. If the lemonade does begin to spoil how will that affect the Methadone?

I've tried asking the nurses at my clinic but they aren't familiar with the ideal storage conditions of diluted methadone mix. Any thoughts or personal experience with this?

i read that mixed with kool-aid, apple juice, tang, or crystal light it can be refrigerated for 30 days at 41 degrees(F) for 30 days without loosing potency it also said somethin about being better if mixed with distilled water

2. No, in fact the acidic pH should help keep the methadone soluble
3. If the lemonade has huge clumps of mold in it then it's certainly not going to be nice (or safe) to drink. The molds, fungi bacteria etc could also in theory destroy the 'done. But the acidic pH and high sugar content should help.
