ok i have some lemmons 7 14's. what would happen if i took one tonight without drinking anything. what will the effects be like anyone know?
thanks

Well, I can almost guarantee that they're not real Quaaludes. It's probably a lot of benzodiazepenes, valium, ativan, that kind of stuff.
Answer me this: Do people know anything about drugs before they buy them?

i know they aren't legit quaaludes but the say "LEMMONS" on the pills so what usually happenes if you take something like that without liquor?

well if you didnt get ripped off you should get fucked up. What did you expect?
I also heard somewhere on this board that some of the fake qualudes have as much as 50mg's diazepam in them.

Correct. The Lemmon 714's are fake.. hundreds of samples have been analyzed and they have either found to be bunk, or more often, they have a high dose of some benzo (so hey, ya don't really lose!)
Now methaqualone IS being produced in Africa, they sell them under the OLD brand name "Mandrax".. it's actually made in clandestine labs, which shows a lot about the intelligence of South African intellengce - it takes a few hundred MG's to get you fucked up... they could make a LOT MORE selling something else... but none the less, they ARE making it! Sadly it has not hit the US as of yet... it probably wont..
So if you can get a good price on the "Lemmon 714's" (like around $5) go for it - it's a HUGE dose of benzodiazepines (they use several - diazepam, bromazepam, oxazepam, etc..) while it's not the real thing, you will get nice and sedated!

I am South African, and I can tell you that it is getting harder and harder to get stuff without being caught. In the last month about 4 of my friends dealers have been caught. So the SA intelligence is getting some intelligence.
Pity though....

Yeah, what is the deal with these? Are they sold as well-pressed and professional looking pills? Does EVERYONE smoke them or do people eat them? Know anything about the labs? What scale are they produced on?
And advanced question - what route do they take?

I recall that when I was last in SA, just about a year ago, a prominent female ANC member with a seat in parliment was caught with a garage full of the stuff. Though I never figured out what Mandrax was...chalk yet another one up for phreex!

So whats the deal with Mandrax, does it just come in one strength? from some make-shift lab?. I hear its quite the rage to smoke the pills, that you get higher (heard it be described as a crack type sensation, wanting more and more). Have you smoked them? Or is that for the lower-class type of drug use smoking the pills? I suppose you can eat them also? Is it better to smoke them? one more Is methaqualone water soluble?
to try and answer your questions - just for the record, i have never done mandrax. In the news and on the streets, it is a drug for the lower class druggies but I guess it is not limited to poor people. Why i say that is because it is cheaper than a lot of other drugs. Mandrax is mostly smoked, but apparently it is quite nasty as you end up with a whole lot of phlem so you have to constantly spit, that you have what they call a 'spit bucket'. It looks really gross.
Mandrax is very very addictive.
My boyfriends brother was a mandrax addict, and I see the suffering he goes through. I wouldnt wish that pain and suffering on my worst enemy.

Phreex, mandrax is a pressed pill, that is very professionally made. To be quite honest, it looks like an E pill. I am not sure if they come in different strengths.
I am not sure if you can eat them, but mostly what people do with mandrax, is to smoke it, similar to crack in kinda like a crack pipe, or broken bottle top.
I dont think that there can be many labs in operation at the moment, as there have been so many busts in the last few months. Watching on the news there have been 4 major busts (mandrax) amounting to the one or two hundred million mark. (dont quote me on that, cos i am not 100% sure) Those busts were the biggest that SA has ever seen.
to answer your advanced question - i cant :)

to tell you the truth, there are so many prominent members of parliament here that are so corrupt in SA, that is why this country is so messed up. There was one guy Wouter Basson who was in the National Intelligence (i think he was the head of one of the departments), who was bust with 900kg of E. His reasoning behind it was for riot control....I think those pills were in circulation for quite a few months later...

Interesting... are they sold completely on the clandestine market or are there places that would be willing to ship them to the US? I had some of the REAL Lemmon 714's once (almost 20 years old) and I would love to try some more....

I think that they would only be able to be shipped illegally.
I found this timeline of mandrax to be pretty interesting.
1955 Methaqualone was first synthesized in India by M.L. Gujral and was soon being marketed as a non-addictive sleeping pill.
1960 Methaqualone is sold by the Boots company under the names Melsed and Melsedin and by Marck as Renoval.
1965 Methaqualone is sold by Roussel labs in combination with an antihistamine under the name Mandrax.
Late 60s Methaqualone becomes a commercial success in the United States where it is sold under the name Quaalude. It also becomes a popular street drug.
1971 Methaqualone becomes regulated in Britain under the UK Misuse of Drugs Act due to its increasing popularity as a recreational drug.
1973 Methaqualone is placed in Schedule II in the United States making it difficult to prescribe and illegal to possess without a prescription.
Early 80s Methaqualone is withdrawn from the market in Britain due to its addictive qualities.
1984 Methaqualone is moved to Schedule I in the United States, making it illegal to buy, sell, or possess.

something else interesting:
Quaalude Lemmon 714's were last produced in 1982. In the 1990's, underground knock-off products were produced and sold bearing the same marking. These counterfeits when seized and tested by law enforcement agencies were found to contain various benzodiazepines, but no quaaludes
