Legitimate reasons for buying 2C-E?

Sorry if I'm making a mistake by making a new thread, but the big thread of 2c-e was closed and I could not find anything else...

Anyways, I have found a vendor for 2c-e and plan on buying some, but the vendor asks for a specific research topic as the reason for purchase. So far, I have come up with "Testing 2C-E's reactivity with other compounds", but I'm wondering if you guys have something better. It is my first time purchasing RCs, so I do not want to mess it up by not having enough of a cover story.

Bluelight isn't the place to help you buy drugs.

But coming up with any excuse for this isn't hard. ex: seeing if it helps keep ants away from sugar.

"GC/MS calibration standard" is in vogue right now ;-) Despite the fact that most of the RC's on the market are by no means clean enough for that use.

Or, just buy from someone who doesn't demand an explanation of what you want it for!

and there isn't really any legitimate use for this unless you're doing something like Azo mentioned, or you're doing some in vitro binding assays, and if you were, you probably wouldn't be using this type of company.
