Legitimate purposes for tryp RC's...

What are some legitimate reasons to have RC's, since intent to consume must be proven, it would be nice to have reasons to have the substance, however I cannot really think of many. You can do melting point/boiling point tests, studies of Drosophila behavior on the substance, etc. Anything to make it seem more reasonable to be ordering the substance. What are some of your ideas?
 
I'm doing research on ant poisons. Trying to find something to keep them away from sugar, and all those conventional poisons you find in stores just don't cut it. I also label all my RC's with "Poison: Do not consume"
 
I know some universities have been doing research on how to detect them in urine and also developing reagent tests. Other than that there really isn't any legitimate purpose. Well perhaps legitimate is the wrong word, as ingesting them, in my mind, is completely legitimate. The reasons you mentioned do sound interesting though
 
On a site I was on just a few minutes ago it made me type in a box called "Statement of use". And the FAQ basically stated that if they didn't believe your reason, or if you put something lame like "I am a psychedelic explorer" they won't send it to you.

What would be a legitimate reason to purchase Meph? Plant study?
 
"understanding the universe" is a legitimate enough reason to me
 
Reagent tests is a good one, as is potential pesticides, nice suggestions. I'd roll with a rework of one of those
 
if the time ever arises, i will let the law know that i am merely a collector of rare psychedelics. i have no intent to consume them.

Nope cos meph has absolutely nothing to do with botany. It has no purpose whatsoever other than as a recreational drug - it is a genuine designer drug created solely for recreational use and nothing else. Those T&Cs are mostly just to cover the vendors arse so if they get busted they can try to claim they weren't aware it was being used for human consumption. Just don't say anything ridiculous and you'll be fine. Beyond that would be too close to sourcing - BL isn't here to help you break the law so you'll have to use your imagination, I'm afraid.
 
Isn't something like researching how the brain, earth and universe think legitimate?

You could say you are testing batches for impurity out of a sense of harm reduction; bit farfetched though.

Maybe if you tell them that you carry them so that you can get caught and arrested, then tell the cops that they're falling right into your plan they wont arrest you due to them not wanting to be controlled.
