Legitimate H? Is it safe? (Picture inside)

wow that does look weird tho. almost like brown sugar. do u trust this person who sold it to u? i would seriously try a taste, and snort a bit first before iv.

i once got some dope i thought for sure was gonna be fake. super dark like that. it turned out to be VERY strong and a few of our peeps kinda over did it on that batch. that was before i ever IV'd too, god imagine how much i wasted...

btw it should most likely taste bitter and thats all if its real dope. if that has any sweetness to it or something like that, its been tainted with something or its fake.


im only answering this so that u make sure u take some extra care here. u dont know if u have super strong shit or bunk dope. so we certainly cant tell u either...

btw that dope looks like some stuff that went thru here a few months back. not the best pic to compare either tho. is it clumpy and kind of dank/sticky? is the smell normal to you?

how many times HAVE u done street dope? hopefully enough to know the very basics.

DONT HEAT THE IV SHOT. dont ever heat heroin!!!! i learned only at the end of my time with H that u cant heat it. wonder how much dope i wasted, and how much extra dissolved stuff crap got into my veins. no wonder i thought the dope used to be so much better when i first started IV. lol.

I'd taste or snort a little to see what effects and taste is.

You can use search engine if you have any questions. My advice would be not to IV something you're unfamiliar with, could be very bad. Maybe try another ROA this time, and wait till you KNOW what u have.

It is definitely clumpy. Has a unique smell to it. I've actually gone through this guy ONCE before and I had insufflated it but my tolerance was to the point where it did not do much, though it definitely had opi properties.

Is there a process to shoot H the can make it safe? It's unfortunate this thread will be closed as it is in the name of harm reduction :/. I can take down to links if need be. I just want to know the safety precautions upon shooting H. I'm more than certain it is H, however I am pretty sure it is not the most pure. Thus.. if it is cut is it dangerous to shoot? I am accustomed to pills which I feel safe with because it is always the same. I have only done H maybe 4 or 5 times.
 
yeah, u cant take it back once its done... if it were to damage u, then u;d prolly have a panic attack to go along with it. easy way to avoid all that is to be very careful as u arent very experienced. u even reading this stuff OP??
 
Most of the dope I've done in my life has ranged from an off-white tan to a dark beige....I've had quite a bit that could be described as brown as well...

It's not the color of this dope that raises a flag with me, it's the apparent consistency...It looks exactly like brown sugar in every way...the large grains, the darker brown around the edges...Heroin turns dark brown a lot of the time too, but only if you add moisture...The fact that this is changing colors around the edges before you've even added water is strange...
 
Yes I am. I shall insufflate some. If it is effective, then is it safe to shoot? I'm asking is cut H not safe for IV? Must it be pure?
 
I had the same concern BlueHues. My thoughts are that some moisture touched it. Because the darker brown is extra clumpy..
 
I wouldn't IV that mess for sure. Doesn't really look like 'd' IMO. Or maybe a little 'd' mixed with some nasty stuff maybe.
In the name of HR I would definitely not IV even with a micron filter. Just try and maybe snort a tiny bit or taste it to see if it's sweet or any other taste that is off. Usually dope doesn't sit around too long, and if exposed to moisture would most likely be left with some junk anyways. Listen to what we're saying.

We don't want you to get sick or hurt yourself friend....
 
As much as I didn't want to.. I insufflated it. I feel it; but it is weak. I don't think it would have been safe to put into my bloodstream. Thank you folks.

I realize this wasnt the question, but I suggest you don't bang heroin at all. Snort or smoke man but once you bang it youre gonna realize it isn't worth it.
 
Bad first sign is someone selling powder heroin rapped in tinfoil. Second is its wet, that is not cool. I think you can now consider that "new connect" an old connect.
 
If you've ever seen what brown sugar does....it kind of solidifies and hardens on it's own, turns brown around the edges.....That shit's either brown sugar, or dope cut with mostly brown sugar...either way, even a shitty dealer doesn't cut heroin with brown sugar...the only person who does that is a junkie trying to rip you off for their own fix...

It's easy to get preyed on when you have not much experience with dope...If I was on a major dope habit and someone who clearly hardly ever touched the stuff before came asking me for a 30 bag, I wouldn't even bother, but for a lot of junkies, that would just be a green light to rip you off...and they'd justify it to themselves by saying, "That guy's better off not getting heroin anyway, hopefully he learned his lesson..."

Yea was thinking same thing about how brown sugar gets clumpy like that even when it just sits in open air.

I wouldn't be concerned about tar in foil, but with powder its a little more questionable. I don't doubt good powder H can be sold in tin foil, but if it was me I would be more skeptical, especially on top of dealing with someone you have no experience with to build trust off. He didn't say where he is from, so if its the norm in the area then I suppose its not s big deal. Where I am from and most he surrounding area I would not expect to buy it like that, and its wet so maybe that's because the foil developed some condensation on it.
 
OP, dab your finger and take a taste. It should not be sweet at all. It should be bitter and may have a vinegary smell (not all dope does, but it is kind of a good sign if it does). That being said, it looks like brown sugar to me, especially due to the clumping around the edges. Taste it. If it is sweet then it is a dead giveaway.
