legally high

So long as it is political suicide nothing will change. Considering loads of drug users do not vote it must be at least still 80% of the UK who want drugs illegal, if not more.

As long as the proles want drugs illegal no political group is going to start decriminalisation. Most people are mindless baboons and are anti drug by definition. It becomes are religious or moral issue and is wrong in their eyes to be high (but ok to be drunk).
The police/authorities defend the system by quoting statistics which do not accurately represent the true nature of the situation. The government whip up fears with scaremongering to justify the huge waste of resources financial and otherwise used to fight the drugs problem.
Which in turn leads public opinion more against decriminalisation. Which makes it less likely for decriminalisation to begin.
 
Of course the funny thing is the recent so called - and much heralded - drop in drug use, was simply down to huge police cuts, thus leaving the percy users alone more.

And giving Cameron what the sheep want to hear.

Well that's what I think anyway.:)

I do however feel in some ways the legal/RC scene has damaged the illegal availability. Especially when it comes to quality Mandy and quality Lucy.


Oh well I at least grew up in the early/mid/late 90's. :p But I swear it did not take long for good MDMA to be hard to source(outside cities at least) once the legal high scene took off post 2005.

In short I would not really miss them(legals) if they were outlawed, as I think it could give a shot in the arm to the illegal scene and improve quality, choice and availability.
 
"Drug use is falling" etc where do they actually find these stats, do they just say do a guestimate, interview a few thousand and then use the figure? Ive never been asked :?

Or are they pulling police stats from somewhere?

agree with everything here, voted Labour till Tony Blair stopped it being a "Labour Party" and started voting Lib Dem.

Never again after the coalition.

When i first started using Drugs i'm chatting about LSD , Shrooms , Speed & E's primarily. It was always a social thing , i can't think of any time where i did them on my own . Of course things were so different then but the social interaction was as important as the DRug Taking & Vice Versa.

I did come of age in a time when the illegal rave scene was at it's peak & in a part of the country notorious for Outdoor free Parties . There were also plenty of really good large scale pay Raves & weekly Club Nights that were fukin banging & only cost a £5 .

When i began using Heroin it was on a social basis as well & stayed like it for about 3 years but i had a job & a extra source of income which was substantial to say the least . It wasn't until that extra income ended that i noticed i had a proper Heroin Habit .

Like people say you don't get a proper habit over night & i personally believe that unless you have used for years every day then you have not experienced Heroin Addiction .

Anyway back to the topic . The only drugs that were used on a solitary basis when i was young was Hash or Weed & even with that we would have monster sessions with loads of people.

So yeah i agree with SHM about a generation of lonely Drug Users , but maybe the don't know anything else ?

Baxter was the scapegoat i rekon . There were plenty of his "pals" singing his praises at the start of the film & the very same people were cunting him off by the end .

I would like to know how long period the filming took place over .

He didn't do himself any favors with the Baxtercaine though. I'm sure there are a few people on this very forum that fit his profile .

The couple seemed pretty level headed a bit too level headed for me though . It was the blood pressure measuring that did it for me tbh .

When i heard he was 21 i couldn't believe it. He was 21 going on 55 in both mannerisms & appearance .
 
I'd be the same, to be honest. When 5-IT came out, that was supposed to be like MDMA, and it killed 14 people in Sweden. Showing the ignorant public a sensible couple, doing medical checks, is far better than showing Baxter and his stupid mates. They showed the two extreme ends of the scale.

Now do what only a respectable mod drugged out of his mind on a treble dose of al-lad, while drinking whine and taking etiz can do.... and infract the guidline breaker....
