legality of san pedro cactus and amanita muscara in the USA

So I'm on a clearnet market place (not the dark web) and I stumble across people selling san pedro cactus and amanita mascara for pretty cheap prices. Sounds like it's completely legal to possess. Maybe it's illegal to consume, but to buy it's perfectly legal?? Can someone explain the legality of these substances more precisely. I live in the USA btw.

Illegal to consume san pedro since it's mescaline, it's not even illegal to consume amanitas as the substances within are not illegal either.
