Hello, sorry if this is a question better suited for the Legal Discussion forum, but there doesn't seem to be much going on over there...

What are the current legal statuses of the new 25X-NBOMe series molecules? Specifically 25C-NBOMe and 25D-NBOMe (although if one is illegal, both probably are, right?) I live in the United States, and I am unsure if the analogues act covers these compounds. Thanks.

well first off the analogue act is in all likelihood unconstitutionally vague. But as it stands i'd think the methoxy-benzyl group makes it substantially different chemically, but there's still that substantially similar pharmacology phrase...

Yeah it looks like the Analogues Act is ambiguous in ways that both aid DEA and law enforcement and hurt them.

It seems to me that if 25C-NBOMe is illegal because it is substantially similar to 2C-B (a schedule 1 drug), then by the same logic any pharmaceutical phenyl-piperazine should be illegal due to it's substantial similarity to BZP.
