Legal to buy and receive drugs from a website?

First, sorry but I don't know where this should be posted..I thought the lounge but it said no drug discussion.

Say I wanted to buy some ecstasy from a website (well known..) - is it legal for me to receive it / pay for it?

I am just looking for a small quantity for personal use, but have no idea on the laws on if I am just buying.
I am in the UK.

I was just on a site today but thought this could be a very easy way to get caught..

Any controlled substance will still be controlled no matter where you obtain it from.
