I found it was more numbing then Codeine, but had less Euphoria. I was saying at the time id probably use it over Codeine for pain and that maybe the pharm companys are overlooking something of value.

I was under the impression that there was no legislation in regards to Datura, thanks in large part to the lack of popularity and the very low risk of re-use. Does this mean all plants with tropane alkaloids are infact illegal in Australia?

To tie this in to the topic of the thread, Datura is neither legal nor fun at all apparently. :D Always like to be useful around here.
 
afaik, in all states datura species are listed as noxious/ prohibited.

Around 2001, the Sunshine Coast hinterland saw datura receive a renewed interest, with at least one young person hospitalised. Response was to remove the trees, although there were some residents who fiercely objected as some of these trees were considered land marks and were very old. Maroochy council has since listed datura among plants not to be used, although I'm not sure how strictly this is enforced.

I'd doubt that all species containing tropanes would be prohibited.

I tried the liquid range from xtreme herbs

Supa Nova Bliss Liquid - This seem to put me in a good mood and had some slight europhia (possilbe placebo)
Funky Munky JJ - didnt notice anything just kept me awake like drinking redbull

Well, other than start yet another why we do name legal highs thread, I'd suggest mentioning anything you know, or are curious about the smoking mixture you have.

Identification is the basis for any and all harm reduction, so if you don't reveal it, it will just make someone else more determined to track it down, have it analysed and reveal the active ingredients to the world...

I haven't tried the newest ones, however the original definitely gets you stoned and lasts a lot longer than weed. But unless I couldn't get weed I wouldn't bother.
 
I recently tried a herbal blend purchased OTC from a herbal store in brisbane, effects were extreme short compared to say real Green but for like 20 minutes your flying high, very very good... too bad its so short, wish oh wish I could find real green in brisbane, wish oh wish I could find real green in brisbane..
 
heard octapamine gives you a decent buzz, I think its in alot of the liquid natural e bottles. Gives me a headace after a while, but it is nice when im on it.might be just me though.
 
My sisters bf purchased something called puff from a legal high shop at first it didn't do anything then they smoked a fair bit of it and supposedly it fucked them up pretty hard just like weed the only difference is that it didn't last very long they said...

Datura species are major weeds in australia and cause damage to hungry stock. And hence they are controlled.
Wild fennel is also a listed weed in south australia, but that doesn't mean we automatically assume it is a dangeorus drug or declare it as 'prohibited herb'.

There are almost no controls on the sale or consumption of datura! In fact, the SUSDP clearly exempts 'Datura in smoking preparations' from scheduling.

Interesting

As mentioned, I made my comments in regards to a Sunshine Coast newspaper article from ~2001. A hospitalisation resulted in the plants being cleared from some hinterland areas. It was widely thought the plants/trees had been banned, but the above listing was all I could find.


On another note, has anyone anything to report on the following products as advertised on a .com.au website? Advertising for the first 3 products indicates no BZP (if I've read it properly), although there's nothing said about the remainder.

Someone who tried the hypnotic had some good things to say about the experience. I'm keen to hear whether it's thought these contain cathinones, piperazines, dmaa, octopamine etc

^^ I'm somewhat interested in hearing people's opinions on these too. Along with the AV range... There are quite a few posts in the AV thread though most seem to be from greenlighters and could just be said supplier promoting their own goods?

I did indulge in the neorganics range a few years back and quite enjoyed the first few dozen experiences %) I've also used a lot of pure DMAA, and had some experience with pipes and octapamine liquids so would be curious to see how these new legal highs compare?
 
^^ i really hope their products are better than their website...it looks flashy but riddled with issues that would make a competent web designer cringe!

Hypnotic Labeled Ingredients: Guarana, Geranium extract, Poppy seed, Calcium, Magnesium and tableting aids. Does this tally with the experience?
 
Cheers for that antheads. From the report received, it would appear there's something more present than just the dmaa/ geranium extract.
