Legal high made from bath salts

People will try just about anything to get high. It makes for an amusing story at least (minus the part where people may have been hurt; hopefully they learned their lesson).

^i think hes referring to the 'they took BATH SALTS to get high' part, ivory wave isnt a bath salt, its just marketed as such to get round the law

making the same fucking mistake they did with 'meow meow plant feeder' expect nothing less from the sun..

Either way it's ridiculous for people to be taking these kinds of things to get high, ya know?

Bath Salts made from legal highs...not Legal high made from bath salts.

Ivory Wave, sold as a Cocaine substitute, is a mixture of MDPV (and possibly other cathinones) and Lignocaine. The Lignocaine simulates the analegisic effects of Cocaine.

This sort of crap from the Sun and its likes is what keeps me in a job! I've been delievering training on legal highs the past month or so to so called professionals working with young people and about 80% of the session content is simply showing why the British and Irish media are the worst possible source of info for these things. It does however allow me to show parts of the BrassEye "Cake" episode to show how the spoof has become the norm, although I get the impression many of these otherwise intelligent individuals in the room still don't actually get it. After working in the field so long I shouldn't be shocked, but the severe lack of even basic knowledge among many social workers who work with vulnerable young people who may use really is frightening- even more so when you realise they trust the sort of nonsense the Sun prints- no wonder so many aren't taken serously by their clients.

Still looking for more information on this chem - seems to have "VERY BAD" or "VERY GOOD" experiences from what I have read. Surely posters from the 6-APB thread have been ordering this, as that is out of stock so would love to here some TRs please.

"This chem"?

Which one?

Pretty much all the legals are made up of surplus stock now, so even brand and type isn't enough to identify your chosen substance.

However, marley has said that Ivory Salts is a mixture of MDPV and lignocaine. The lignocaine isn't active (as a stimulant, just as a local anaesthetic), and there's plenty of information about MDPV out there.

Thanks HerrSchnaufer - Was aware that this product used to contain MDPV - however this is now illegal in UK as far as I am aware so thought they have replaced with something else - Also seems strange that all these hospitalisations are now being reported on all of a sudden - Probably just sensasionalism once again by The Sun etc, but would rather have information before rather than after.

From wiki :

"In the UK, following the ACMD's report on cathinone derivatives[4], MDPV is a Class B drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, making it illegal to sell, buy, or possess without a license."

This just in:

Our kids are getting high on plant food. Scientists say miracle grow and those akin to it contain a drug with effects similar to heroin, lsd and methamphetamine combined. There have been 5,000 overdoses thus far as it is the strongest, most deadly drug ever created and parents are really worried.

Is this the new Ivory Wave not containing MDPV?

I would love to know the answer to that question - could be dangerous if they are still selling the old version though, and by the sounds of things with all the hospital admissions there is definetly something strong in there....

By the sound of some of the trip reports more like diphenhydramine (Paranoia, Delusions, Hallucinations that are "real", talking to people that arent there....Oh and dont forget "Waiting for Jesus" - So fucking funny !!!) but it must be something stronger as you would need a lot larger dose....

Puzzling :\

Good chance nothing has changed - the vendors love relabelling with 'Now legal in the UK' to boost their sales again. If you read their disclaimer when purchasing, they state they take no responsibility in relation to the legality.

Does not sound like mdpv to me unless you are taking a massive overdose. Its funny I was looking for a certain grey area benzo and stumbled on a site where this company in china would do a custom synth for like a grand so it could really be anything that is semi-legal in china.

Give them each 200 micrograms of acid and lock them in a room full of very large squirrels. That's how I was educated.

If you dont know what it is boys how can you criticise

I would just like to say that there are around 6 or 7 different ivory waves for sale some uk legal
others not really unless you can test it yourself you wont be sure how much and what it contains, however what i do know is i had a 1000mg pack that was red where as those kids in scotland had a silver 200mg pack that said single dose on it that would mean there were only 5 doses in my pack now i like to think i can handle my stuff reasonable well and i know damn straight if i had done that in 5 hits I WOULD BE DEAD

however i do believe if you treat the substance with respect start off small find out what it does bit at a time dont get pissed you can enjoy it the same as any other 'bath salt' or 'plant food'

This is not my post you canread it yourself @

I've seen few reports other than of the "Avoid like the plague - never again" variety on Ivory wave (with one or two exceptions, of course). As I said, it doesn't appear to be MDPV anyway. The chemical found when it was tested doesn't even have a common name yet it's so obscure.

EDIT: It appears the tests on the mystery ingredients of Ivory Wave may not be so reliable so I may be mistaken in what I said above. It honestly doesn't sound much like MDPV (certainly not just MDPV anyway) from the reports I've read, though. I still advise acquiring "pure" MDPV should anyone wish to try it. And definitely don't IV branded shit.
