legal cannabinoid confiscation

Long story short. Got arrested the other day and I had a box full of homemade incenses containing AM-2201, AM694, JWH-019, JWH-081, JWH203, JWH-210, JWH-250 and a bag of AM-2201. They said they had to send it out to the lab. Now I realize I didn't get a receipt for it. Did they just screw me out of $xxx that it cost me?

Does no receipt mean my stuff is lost?

I know i asked this before but i think i confused the question with too many facts. Sorry though if I annoy anyone. Just want to know if i should be expecting a package waiting for me at my PD or cut my loses.

My answer to this question is yes my stuff is lost thats also what most of my friends say. Please me know if we're wrong.

I'm probably just gonna order more and if I'm wrong then hooray.

We can't really answer that question for you, and there's a reason you were unable to post in the Legal Discussion section of BL. We already closed this question in Cannabis Discussion, and it's not appropriate here either, since we don't have any idea about your local jurisdiction nor the exact circumstances of the incident.

i would think no receipt means no return, I've been through a few different jails and if something's not on your receipt then that means someone kept it for themselves or lost it. It isn't really a legal question it's about common sense.

Common sense dictates to me that I have no way to prove i had what i say i had and am screwed

I don't know why I bothered asking this. I'm sorry for wasting you time and more importantly throughput. I know the answer to this - I'm not getting it back. Just time to regroup and start over. I guess i was just hoping someone could shed some light on this most horrid occurence

It depends on how things work in your area. Years ago my buddy's house was raided and they took a bunch of plants and shit. Months and months later they called him to come down and pick up his grow lights which I would have never thought that they'd return. Point being if you do get it back it will take time especially seeing that it's going to the lab.

Something like this may be as specific as the very police station your stuff is being held in. For all we know the next town over might have a totally different policy. I'm going to close this because you say you know the answer. If you want it open just PM me and I'll hook it up.
