Hiya, I had a blood clot but was told it was an old one and had dissapated, but my leg is still swollen up, it's been months. Has anybody else had this problem, does anyone know about vien transplants, I was told my arteries were pumping blood into my viens faster than they could handle but I had a nurse who wasn't vey sympathetic to my plight, im in agony if i walk more than 200 yards. She told me my leg would never be the same again and basically she didnt know what to suggest-goodbye. btw, she was lovely with me until she seen my notes! Could a cardiovascular surgeon help, im trying to get advice from google under my own steam but I cant seem to find anyone with the same problem! Aside from every pair of jeans, skirts and dresses that i cannot wear without being paraniod that im being pointed and laughed at, it's hurting. So please if anybody has had the same problem or can give medical advice i would so greatly appreciate it. It's got me in tears
Regards
Jade
I'm horribly sorry to hear the issues you're going through. I think the best advice that can honestly be offered though is to seek professional medical assistance again. If the care you get from one individual isn't adequate, you need to press on for someone who can help.
This sounds rather serious and isn't something that can be diagnosed accurately over the internet. The best we can do is speculate, likely with inaccuracy. I'm going to close this, and urge you to get a second opinion.
Please be sure to post back and let us know how you're doing. If you just need someone to talk to, I'm available via the PM me link in my signature. It might also be helpful to start a thread in The Dark Side for some emotion support over what you're going through.
