Leg & Stomach pain after Escaline?

I have had a few goes with Escaline over the last few weeks but am suffering still (4 days after last dose) with terrible stomach pain, leg cramps & also a small issue with bladder control.

Anyone else had this happen?

I am giving serious throught to going to see a Doctor sadly.

Have you suffered any other strange substance recently, at what dose(s) have you employed the substance, how closely spaced were they? Did this happen every time? Not eaten anything wierd?

Do you want me to google your symptoms? I know it's not wise to do it yourself, but if I do it I can look objectively at the resulst dispassionately, without the jaundiced eye of health-fail paranoia!

stupid Google and its medical information often put me on a paranoid buzz when their was nothing wrong. id try the doctor as the bladder thing would be the push in my opinion

We cannot substitute for one, but out of curiosity: when was the onset of these side-effects compared to the time of escaline ingestion, and what was the route of administration?

Considering mescaline's relative safety but propensity to cause vasoconstriction (especially developing on the comedown), I would think that the first two symptoms have something to do with that but loss of bladder control / incontinence / some related issue seems odd.

No headaches, tension or other vasoconstriction related problems?

I am ok now thank god but for those few days it was terrible, I have never been turned off a drug but that stuff was something else.

I ended up doing 750mg over a few days which I know is kind of dumb but the issue with being able to hold my urine was really a bad thing, Escaline is something I will never be taking again.

Shame that Escaline has been blackened by your experience but shit man, that's alot of under-researched Psychedelic drug to be consuming! Did you tell the doctor what you thought had caused the bladder problem? If so, what did the doc say..?

I've been curious about Mescaline for a bloody long time & the appearance of Escaline increased my interest. I am now much less eager to try it, but I have almost non-existant tolerance to Psychedelics so I doubt I'd get anywhere near that level of dosing.

Did you enjoy Escaline? I guess you must have to have taken 750mg of it! Have you written a report for the Trip Reports forum? There aren't many reports out there about this stuff, so every penny's worth is errrr worth every penny!

"a few goes?!" given that 100mg is a rather high dose for most people, that is indeed a lot of escaline to be taking.......

mescaline/escaline are pretty forgiving in terms of one time use, if you overshoot the dose, but if you were bingeing on the stuff for days then honestly, i don't know what you were expecting.

Haha lets be diplomatic nontheless Sekio, eh? This information is valuable, & who can honestly say they haven't ever pushed the boat out a bit too far? Everyone makes mistakes, I doubt you or Paws are any different & I certainly am not!

There might be some reason that Escaline should be used cautiously, & Paws experience might be the first of many. Or it could be that a certain obviously unamned vendor is vending something not entirely right.

Personally, as I alluded above, I suspect a too heavy dosage regime. Way too heavy! But yeah we all make mistakes & it's good to see you've survived this one Paws!

100mg isn't really a shit load. I've taken tons of escaline without issue, well except my bowels get extremely fucked from the drug itself and i sometimes get cramped muscles and shit but that's expected with a PEA IME. These effects always wear off when the drug itself does (which is about 12-14 hours i find)

i generally take 60-80mg for fun, at 100mg the side effects start to pop up more but it isn't an absurd dose by any means. I've binged on it for days as well, no real issues afterwards, other than terrible wear and tear on the mind/body. Same goes for any psych binging for me at least. I wouldn't expect the majority of psychedelics to cause real issues after a few days of heavy use.

i've gone through grams of it and proscaline and never had any lingering issues from either and i most often dose high, often for 2 days at a time. Just my experience, don't want to see you scared off from beautiful escaline

^i'm thankful for your report, FWIW some psychs just aren't for me either, especially the 4 subbed tryptamines, i will never do those again but many others love them.

honestly there isn't enough info about escaline out there so every little bit helps us get a better understanding of this relatively novel compound.

It is valuable information you are sharing but it has to be put into perspective. It's quite possible that if you take a corresponding amount of mescaline within a week's time you get similar symptoms, but then again: escaline could be more harsh in this regard.

I've been railing against 5-mapb in various parts of the interwebs since I poisoned myself with the stuff in January, & people aren't too happy that I'm dissing their favourite new compound. It's been described by other forum users that I had an agenda to discredit the drug! Eye Wide Open was pretty scathing towards Methoxetamine right here in PD, after damaging his kidneys on the drug & various combinations with stimulants, but his efforts to warn others off using the drug the same way was met with disbelief & disdain & he appears to have left the forum as a result. I hope that's the reason he's not around, anyway!

So don't sweat it!
