Sorry if this has already been brought up. Whenever I take molly (300mg - max 500mg in a night), after a few hours of rolling, I get this thing where my legs start cramping up and I feel like i really need to sit or lay down in order to be comfortable. If I take more (boost), it goes away for a few hours and comes back.

Do others get this? It's like a feeling that goes through my back and my legs, stretching doesn't help even though it feels like it would. The only thing that gets rid of it is sitting/laying down.

I know it's not fatigue because it happens even if I'm not really dancing... Is this a side effect that a lot of people get?

I have heard of this happening to people but it never happened to me. There are a number of reasons mucles will cramp without physical fatigue and being tense from stimulant use is for sure one of them. Most of the time when it happenes its because your body is defecient of certain vitamans and minerals. Try taking a multi-vitamin for a week or so before you roll and see if it improves.

it can also be attributed to dehydration. so I say drink some gatorade and water, and take the multivitamin.

Wow I was going to start a thread kind of like this, my legs do cramp up a lot of the times and no matter how much I stretch (even though it feels amazing) the cramping usually only goes away if I sit. I think it's just your body trying to tell you that it needs a break. At an event on Saturday my leg started getting literally numb because I guess I was walking too much... Ugh.

I agree with the others who said drink gatorade. :) I don't usually get this too bad with ecstasy, and if I do it's something that comes for a bit and then goes. With dexedrine though, I've definitely gotten that and drinking fluids usually seems to help. I think its probably dehydration, and also probably just tension from being on a stim.

This has happened to me twice. My legs start spasming out and it feels really wierd and it feels like i need to stretch but it doesn't help. The first time was when I was actually dancing the whole night, wich my legs definitely weren't used too. The second, was in june and i continued dancing and walking around despite knowing i needed rest.... coincidentally(or not?) both times I was also on mescaline.

Be careful about simply drinking more water.....Only do if you are truly thirsty or havent been drinking any...
B. Hyponatremia (water intoxication)

Defenition – Hyponatremia is the condition of having a low blood sodium concentration. This is bad because osmotic pressure will cause water to enter brain cells, causing swelling. This swelling can become severe enough to cause cerebral haemorrhage and death.

Causes – Excessive fluid intake or rapid loss of sodium. Rapid water intake in combination with excessive perspiration and/or vomiting will hasten the onset of hyponatremia.

Prevention – Consume fluids that contain sodium, or couple plain water with salty foods (crackers, pretzels, etc).

Symptoms – Muscle cramps/spasms, confusion, nausea, fatigue, pale skin, impaired response.

Treatment – For mild symptoms, consume sodium via salty foods or drinks (no, that doesn’t mean you can have a margarita).

This only happened to me once, but it was quite painful. I had just gotten to sleep, been roliing all night with some friends. All the sudden I woke up feeling like someone had just stabbed me in the leg, my whole calf muscle had completely seized up like a knot.

It went away after a minute or two, it just scared the hell out of me when it happened. My friends thought it was funny as hell though, me just randomly screaming and punching myself in the leg from sleep!

Never was sure what caused it. I assumed it was a hydration thing, it hasn't happened since though.

Lots of reasons why you can get cramps when rolling - any of the sports drinks can really help and avoid it.

Good to know, it's important to take a break and eat a salty dog :).
