I love learning, and would love to go back to uni, if it wasn't for the damn essays! Anyhow, I would like to do an education certificate at some point in the future, so I can be a nurse educator. I would love to learn sign language but doubt I will ever find the time, same with Italian. I would also like to learn pattern making - I can sew, but would love to be able to do my own patterns. And mosaic art - that would be cool too.

i would love to learn how to:
-Dance properly. haha
-to DJ
-how to get motivation to do my year 12 school work so i can get into my uni course.

Currently doing a diploma of natural resource management and I love it :)

Would love to do a better job of learning french than the lame attempt I made in high school (but hey I got to go to New Caledonia, that fucking rocked)

I should probably also take a few bass guitar lessons... I mean there is only so much you can teach yourself...need to improve finger work mainly..

Other than that I find philosophy pretty interesting...

I am sooo sick of the education system we have (secondary and tertiary grind... doesn't help I am doing a degree I find utterly boring).

~Nods feverently~

Oh boy, do I hear ya...and about the telepathic skills? Could maybe help you there.

Seriously.
:\

I would love to learn a few languages.

After coming back from Japan, I'm determined to learn Japanese or at least some Japanese so I can get by!

I want to get my PhD in something like Risk Analysis/Security.

I want to learn to dance well!!

To cook well.

Photography - So many of my rave pics just turn out awful!

shameless bump of my own post here :)

i'm kinda on my way - i've been picking up some of the basics of french over the last few weeks (and will hopefully do this a bit more), and i've now got turntables and can actually beat-match the occasional song ;)

so, i'm on the way to two on my list: it could be worse. anyone else like learning? :)

Yearning

I'm lucky now that I've finally found what I wanna
be studying, so it's a pleasure to attend college.

* Energetic Healing
* Holistic Counselling
* Transpersonal Exploration
* Reiki (3rd level)
* Meditation (a first prioty)
* Subtle Anatomy
* Vibrational Healing
* Chinese Massage
* Kinesiology
* Chakra Balancing
ect. ect. ect.

I'd like to learn to be more assertive -
but I think I might just get it with a few more years...

But in the mean time, I wanna learn to *bust better moves*.
And find relationships that don't require 'handling'.

Awesome thread! Perhaps we could combine it with the Areas of Expertise thread turn it into an instruction-trading market?

HAVE (and willing to teach):

- Programming (many languages, including the C++ you're apparently all so keen on, crazy bastards that you are)
- Linux
- Manual driving
- Dancing (Melbourne Shuffle only, pretty average at those other styles)
- Karate, kendo, other forms of interpersonal violence
- Japanese
- leet Juggling (obscure 3-ball tricks a specialty)

DON'T HAVE (but want to learn):

- Massage
- Cooking
- Car repair basics (like, really basic basics)
- Twirling
- T'ai Chi

^^^ that's a really good idea ya know. um, i'm not sure if i'll *do* anything about it (lazy), but if everyone else is more motivated than me, it might be worth pushing forward. i'll try to remember to think about it over the next few days :)

umm....is anyone having problems with the board currently?

i can only view the last thread in each forum.... :(

am i alone :X
