Hello,

I have a couple of questions about the law/medical procedure that I'm hoping someone can answer. I recently went in to get checked out and diagnosed for ADHD as I've been having increasingly severe trouble concentrating. The psychiatrist agreed and offered to write me a letter, but now I'm realizing that the psychologist (the prescribing doctor) will likely have to access my existing records, will find that i have been prescribed bipolar medication, and will not be able to prescribe me a stimulant. Is this true, aka, is it a waste of my time and money to go any further?

In addition, I am concerned that my primary care physician (who is a close family friend) will see it come up on my record if I am prescribed. Is that the case?

Thanks,

we are not really qualified to give this sort of informaton out, and we can't help you with threads that seem as though you are asking for tips as how to get meds from your doctor so I am going to close this thread.

If you have any problems with my closing of the thread or think that it should be reopened then shoot me a PM

Mugz :)
