Hey all,

I'm currently 28 years old and my life sucks shit with mounting debts and a failing relationship due to my struggle with depression since i was 14 years old.
I've suffered from anorexia athletica which developed into nervosa to some sort of binge disorder when i began to re-feed.

I got over all that at about 18 years of age but still have never felt qui9te right since with what was diagnosed as major depression at 19.
My recent trip to the shrinks in a new country (Holland) have left mw with a diagnosis for dysthymia but they havent done an adhd test - I know how to fake it and the answers to give but is there a key way of luring them into giving you a script for adderall or ritalin etc

Hey that sounds like drug seeking/conning to get drugs you want-not cool.

Let thoes who have many years training to decide whats wrong, and treatment for it. I had what i though was an anxiety disorder for years, could never hold a job, tried many anxiety treatments, even anti-psychotics, until a top Psych suggested i had an organisational/concentrational/hyper brain disorder. he treated me with Ritalin 10mg 2x a day ("RITALIN" i said "thats for hyperactive kiddies" but went along with his 25 years of experience in mental health, and it cleared up my brain.

Sometimes we DON"T know best, and any good Doc will pick up on your drug seeking in no time.

Point taken davids and though perhaps valid as your opinion is I'm not prepared to waste more months if not years on useless medications. At least stimulants/ADHD medss are indicated in treatment resistant depression so I wouldnt call it drug seeking as such - I already have a benzoi and tricyclic script in large amounts.

--Yes you are correct they often are, but hey lets face it you don't have to have TRD to feel better on amphetamines, they are 'speed' in normal people and thats why they have a street value.

I act/feel like i'm 'on speed' naturally, My first 5mg tab of D-amphetamine put me to sleep! Ritalin causes a lowering of my mood, and quite frankly i feel 'higher' off it, but i'm a burden to live with unmedicated, and being a controlled drug it's a bitch dealing with.

I just felt you were asking for advice on how to score speed for non-medical reasons which we don't give advice on here.

Peace.

Yeah this kind of thread is not allowed here at all.

Whether for medical or non-medical purposes, we DON'T give people advice on how to get meds from their doctors.

If you got a good relationship with your doctor, you can just ask for something specific, tell him what he thinks about that option, and theres a good chance your doc will let you try something. You don't need to lie.

My doctor put me on whatever I wanted... sure I was abusing it all but I never had to lie to him, I just said "hey man, (I was rx'ed adderall) this stuff causes me to get really bad anxiety, (which it did/does) can I switch to dexedrine I heard its not as "harsh"..." Then went into the whole spiel about the dextro isomer is better and less harsh bullshit...

I had to try out vyvanse first though, but two months later I Told him it lasted too long it was too hard to control (which it was, no lie)

Then I got what I wanted.

Never had to lie though.

Just find a doctor who will listen to you and actually cares about what you tell him, not some asshole who thinks your just seeking drugs, and does not listen to your opinions. Ultimately leave it up to him, if he thinks its good or beneficial for you, you'll get it, or something close.

edit
*just take it as prescribed don't abuse it*
