Lasting psychological problems from psychedelics

Just for a little perspective: twice per week is an astronomically high rate of LSD use.
 
Psychedelics gave me HPPD and I don't really regret it at all. I consider myself to be a socially healthy and moral person.

I have lost all my friends and my family is afraid of me (I'm the black sheep), but these are due to choices (sometimes mistakes) I have made consciously based on values I hold. I don't believe I would make different choices if I hadn't ever tried psychedelics, furthermore, the type of person that I am made the choice to try drugs that our society has made illegal and tried to scare us with. I ain't close to normal to begin with.

I use psychedelics to enhance what I experience that which I am, but in a way no less normal than what expresses itself as my taste in music ... or people, etc.

MDMA use will leave you with lasting problems. Overdoses on psychedelics will leave you with problems, (DOB nearly destroyed me).

It's different for everyone; marijuana makes me an ugly person, I feel, and leaves me with more psychological problems than any psychedelic I've ever tried.
 
I don`t think a lot of acid these days is in actual fact acid and what little acid there is doing the rounds is probably very weak...Not in all cases but probably the majority.

Back in the early 90`s you wouldn`t be able to get away with tripping twice a week,i`m talking about the days of purple OHMS,strawberries,red stars,batman and jokers etc etc.Most of it was coming straight in from the west coast of USA and being produced by chemists who made acid the first time around in the 60`s and 70`s,it was f**kin strong stuff.

Then it all stopped when the chain got busted in the USA,Britain and the Netherlands.

Those were the days 8)
 
Earlier this year I dropped acid around seven times in a two month period.

I had delusions that I was on the hit list of a local Muslim Mosque and I had too go home early from work I was so paranoid that I was being watched.

In hindsight it's fucking ridiculous and makes me embarrassed.

It wasn't lasting though ... I'm fine now.

My daily cannabis use is way more destructive.

I would bet that less than 1% of acid being sold in the united states is something other than LSD. Most acid is real, good ol' fashioned LSD.

If you're getting sold bunk shit, you just don't know where to look-- that's all.

Hang on a minute, acid is acid - the only reason it would be stronger 20 years ago was it they'd put more of it on the blotter. You can't make "weak" acid - it's either acid or it isn't.
 
Ive seen bunk stuff goin around a party once but it was very easy to tell. It wasnt even normal blotter paper but like some white thick card stock stuff. I really dont think there is as much bunk acid around as everyone always claims.

yeah acid is definitely acid, but that doesnt mean everyone is putting the exact the same amount of crystal into a liquid vial, which then makes it weaker.
 
First of all i don`t live in the USA so i cannot vouch for the acid that does the rounds there,i`m sure there are still many chemists that produce good quality acid out there,as for the UK i don`t think so...Well at least not on the same scale.

And yes acid is acid,but if your being sold only 50 to 100 micrograms as a dose then your not getting what was intended as a proper full on acid trip,500 micrograms is the average dose for a good blotter,and it also has to be clean acid,sometimes you get dirty shit which has other elements to it.

That would be retarded. Back in the 70's it may have had an average of 300 ug -400 ug but still not even 500. I agree with what Roger said as long as you know where to look you'll get quality LSD. Its just much harder to enter the circle now a days.
 
had a bad trip on DMT last night. got stuck in a loop. felt like i had lost my mind. feeling very weird and anxious at the moment, i hope this feeling goes away. was my fault for doing it in the wrong setting, now im paying the price. hope i havnt got fucking PTSD or something. was feeling ok earlier, but graually anxiety has come in waves and now im not feeling good. thank fuck i havnt got work tomorrow

500mics per average blotter? I think you're mistaken, I would say if you're getting 200-250mic tabs, dots, gels, etc that's a very good dose. The average is low 100's depending on the area.

As others have said, 500micrograms is an astronomical dose of LSD to put on a single blotter. Its certainly not the "average dose for a good blotter", not anywhere.

Imagine how much trouble ignorant teenagers would find if they could score 500 mic hits at EDM parties.
