I've never had any problems with this but maybe it's just because I have sex differently. I'm not pounding a girl for 5-10 minutes straight. Why don't you just take a beak halfway and give her some pleasure too? how old are you? if you in your teens or early twenties, dont expect to last longer than 5 minutes...its just the way things are

also, is it necessary? if the girl you are with is fine with short sex, be fine too. if she and you can both get off, great. if she cant, try going down on her first.
 
Opioids/opiates are fantastic, for non drug methods try less "penetration" during sex and more oral, caressing, etc. For me my problem sometimes is that I CAN'T cum. It sucks sometimes. Try slowing it down in the sack and distract your mind if needed for good measure.

Your situation is normal for young men. The fellow above gave you exactly the advice a sex therapist would: masturbate MORE not less. It definitely works and is the standard treatment if you were to see a professional....But you can do the same thing with your partner if you like - make it part of the fun rather than something to be embarrassed about. Any woman with experience knows this is just normal for most young dudes.

You have the right idea about sex in general though - keep up that attitude even after you learn control and make her come many times for every time you come and you'll do well in life.....

I'm sure the jerk-n-stop method works, and I'm going to try it.

While it sounds like a decent thing to try with a female (before you have that self-control built it to the point where you don't need to stop), I've also read on here that the start-and-stop during sex is, for females, probably a good way to piss them off. I believe the point being made was: guys can start, build it up, wait, then orgasm on command. For females, I believe the point was: they need that continual build-up to the point where they orgasm and continue orgasming... If you start and stop, start and stop, I imagine it would be more difficult to bring a female to orgasm. That's been my general impression w/ sex.

On the other hand, we have the theory of The Nines, with the 1 long and hard stroke, 8 soft and shallow-- I don't think this falls into the 'start-and-stop' because it is a rhythm. Perhaps the Nines is a perfect compromise between uninhibited jack-hammer power-fucking, and buildup/let-down frustration.
 
Im not sure about most girls but I hate having sex for longer then 5 to 10 minutes. I'm more into the five minutes of intense banging and then I'm good. After 10 minutes I'm usually just waiting to get it over with because my pleasure sensations are usually numb and my vagina is all loose and things are not as exciting. Id suggest more foreplay ahead of time so the girl can get off quicker and feel satisfied before you feel the need to bust a nut.

This isn't true for everyone.

@OP, think less about trying not to cum and more about just the sex itself, read your partners body and see what happens when you hit the right spots, shake things up and frequently switch positions. If I find myself about to cum before I'm ready, I'll just push her off me and then start taking her doggy. Don't turn to drugs to alter your libido or stamina, both of these things come (lol) with time so give it practice and communicate with your partner and soon enough you'll be taking her for as long as you feel like.

Has anyone tried methods like doing your 3 times tables in your head while you are going at it, or thinking about something in particular that is non sexual (this seems like abit of buzz kill though).
