Inside Man

i have a (non-Hinckley type) thing for Jodie Foster so i really liked this. Clive Owen, Denzel Washington, and Christopher Plummer were good too. the plot is a bit thin and plodding, but the performances were enough to keep me interested.

I know!. Even if something comes on really late and I already have it DVD, I simply MUST stay up and watch it. And when I'm just about to head out the door and one of my favourite songs comes on the radio, even if I have it and can listen to it anytime, I have to stay until the song is finished. No matter HOW late I am =D

I should have mentioned that the last movie I watched was Return To Oz :D

A documentary, Tibet: Cry of the Snow Lion.

I have a soft spot for Tibet that was admittedly brought about by the Beastie Boys during my pubescent years. Thus I would recommend this to anyone who cares or might eventually care.
 
Georgia Rules, with Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman and Lindsey Lohan. My friend (a female) and I (a male) were originally planning to see Zodiac but I caved at the last minute. Not a bad film for a chick flick film, though it does have some dark parts in it that I wouldn't have expected.
 
The Pledge

Starring Jack Nicholson & directed by Sean Penn, it's about a retired cop who, following the brutal murder of a young girl, becomes utterly consumed in his obsession with finding what he believes to be the true culprit.

I really enjoyed it (but then I tend to enjoy anything that has Sean Penn's name attached) due in large part to Nicholson's central performance. I think this is mainly because it's one of the first films in which he acknowledges his advancing years in real life, & the portrayal of a man whose days are in a sense numbered, is all the better for it. He lends an urgency to his characters obsession that few other actors could pull off.

I left an hour into it, once i realized it was a fucking horror movie.

I go into the theatre thinking 'Outbreak' - left the theatre sick to my stomach. How anyone can watch absolute horror/terror/brutal death/cannabilism for enjoyment or escape is beyond me.

As if there isn't enough misery in the world left alone, let alone someone needs to sit a room somewhere and think it up or write a script about it. :\

Loved it. I love all 3 of them, granted the first one was the best, but I still loved all 3 of them.

I really like that movie. Of course I like Will Smith though: Men In Black (second one upset me), Bad Boys I & II, Independence Day, I Robot, Hitch.
