which one? if not the 70's version (which i would be surprised if that was your reaction) then that is highly recommended.

That shit was funny as hell just like you said as long as you dont take it serious, im suprised no one in here made a thread of it.

Gotta love HBO especially when they show 80s movies with atrocious outfits and really cheesy songs ;) I've seen this so many times and I still enjoy it.
Demi Moore had such small tits back then!

Bernie: Are you getting serious? Well, she seemed like a hell of a girl. From what little I saw of her. Not too this. Not too that. Very kind of, um, what?... Ah, what the fuck, I only saw her for a minute. First impressions of this kind can often be misleading. Does she give head?

Had a double bill when I went to the cinema yesterday & saw "Outlaw" first. Heavily violent in parts & lots of swearing. Going by the trailer, I was expecting the usual vigilante style of movie & it proably is, but thouroughly enjoyed it.

I then went in to see Ghost Rider & it turned out to be the bag of wank I suspected it would be. Shame really.

I had totally forgotten about this one part....

Frank Rittenhauer: If this factory goes under, the whole town goes under.
Boardroom Woman: That's when the whores come in.
Paul: Excuse me, what was that?
Boardroom Woman: Men laying their trick-money down. Twenty dollars to pay the rent? Maybe not. Maybe instead I'll spend it on the whore
Boardroom Woman: Whores running around, doing their little behind-shake for the men folk...
Boardroom Man: For Christ's sake. Once during the war I visited a prostitute, and my life has been a living hell ever since.

Capote. I didn't really know all that much about the subject matter or Capote himself, but I really enjoyed this film. Many of the panoramic still scenes were breathtaking. Philip Seymour Hoffman continues to be one of my favorite actors, whether it's a bit part (Brandt in The Big Lebowski) or a main role (Capote, Owning Mahoney), he really shines. I had no idea Harper Lee and Capote were close in real life--definitely an interesting aspect to the film I wasn't expecting. I think I'll have to go read In Cold Blood now.
