Last movie you watched?

The Big Lebowski and Fargo...

back to back. I don't know, it just seemed like a great progression of movies.

Fargo is awesome, but I could watch Lebowski a thousand more times and still never tire of it.

Cannibal Holocaust. A bit dissapointing really, I don't know what all the fuss was about! Other than the shock value, I didn't really see any profound commentary about violence in society like so many have preached. Not very recommended.

I watched Secretary last night. I enjoyed it. Definitely a nice change of pace from the traditional love story.

I wanna be one of the little Lebowski Urban Acheivers

So, like, racially he's pretty cool? :D

The Missing(directed by Ron Howard who also directed Willow, Backdraft, Apollo 13, and Ransom) on HBO : a part Western, part period drama, part mystical thriller, part action movie with excellent performances from Cate Blanchett, Tommy Lee Jones, and a fantastic performance from Eric Schweig as the Apache witch doctor (God i hate him ! lol! Very good performance!).
Sheeeeeeet I usually shy away from any remotely western themed movie(with the exception of High Noon, which i love) but this was fucking great. Wow. Indians, renegade Apaches, outlaws, Christians, female abduction, murder, slave labor, brujos, etc. I need something to calm down, k thks. 8o

PS. Cate Blanchett is a fuckin awesome actress....i love her!

watching King Arthur now. if Keira Knightly hadn't just shown up, i would have turned it off.

Night of the Living Dead circa '68....

it just might be my favorite movie of ALL TIME (I'm a big horror head).

Last night I saw Seed of Chucky, effectively Child's Play 5. If anyone saw the last movie, Bride of Chucky, you'll know it was more or less a romantic comedy about killer dolls. Seed of Chucky is similar- they are reunited with their (now) British child. Not-quite a boy, and not-quite a girl, the puppet appears androgynous in a David Bowie Ziggy Stardust kind of way, and particularly amusing was Chucky's wife Tiff, takes a 12 step program a la NA to quit her addiction to killing. I found it incredibly amusing, but that's because I am an unashamed fan of long running horror movie villains, eg Freddy, Jason, Michael Meyers.

Chinese pirate copy of Memoirs of a Geisha- Nice film.

But it was completely overshadowed by the english subtitles. When at first, i couldn't understand how they could've gotten the transcript so wrong, I then realising the subtitles were from another movie altogether.
As the little girl is being shown the routine by an old asian woman onscreen, and the words say things like: "Alpha team ready"; "We have confirmation. It's a go!"; and "FOG, a fuckable older guy" you know something is way wrong, but HILARIOUS!

Boogeyman. Not as scary as I wanted it to be. Not as metaphysical as I wanted it to be. A few big stones were left unturned. A couple irritating unanswered loose ends. The end was way too simple. That being said, I enjoyed the jumps anyway, it's worth a watch when it's on TV.

Who was the main character? Maybe it's because I've never seen him before but he seemed a little to dazed and confused thoughout the entire movie and was so spectral and amorphous, I couldn't get a grasp on him.

God what a picky bastard I am...
