last movie you watched v. 2.0

I watched Now And Then.

For some unknown reason I was thinking about this movie yesterday. Thora Birch and Christina Ricci are still around, but I wondered what Gaby Hoffman and Ashleigh Aston Moore (I admit I couldn't remember her name) were up to these days. So I checked imdb and I was a little saddened to read that Ashleigh had died in December from what appears to have been an accidental heroin overdose :( . She was by far the best actress of the group and I always wondered why I'd never really seen her in anything else. It appears she gave up acting in the late 90's. She was only 26, the same age as me :(

Now, rather coincidentally, there's a Freaky Friday remake on TV starring Gaby Hoffman. Weird :\

Loved this movie. The ending made me lol

One interesting thing I picked up on is a connection with the Australian film Wolf Creek. The guy selling the white car had a sinister laugh very similar to the villan in Wolf Creek and in the final car chase one of the cars crashes through a sign for a double feature at the local drive in. Obviously homage to the hold grindhouse concept, but the second film on the night was Wolf Creek

I watched Cashback with my mom. I forgot about all the nudity. Fucking ackward to watch a film chock full of nudity with mommy.

I just watched Transylvania:

I cannot express enough love for Asia Argento. It's true that she can be quite mediocre at times, but others she can totally demand your complete attention when on screen. Her passion and energy always amazes me and this film was no different in that respect. TBH the spirit of the whole thing kinda woke me up a little <3

My friend talked me into seeing Jumper with him, I mainly just went due to boredom and that he offered to/did pay for me. The movie wasn't good. ;(

10,000 BC

i was really looking forward to this, and in the first 10 minutes my disapointment was set. the sets were such obvious fakes, terrible and no excuse for that. you could actually tell it was a painted set in the background, pathetic. the story was lame, the acting was lame-er....all around terrible. suuuuch a disapointment

i mean, i wasn't expecting oscar worthy material, just some good entertainment. but, no.

Hehe all in all it was a good movie with solid acting...but RAGING BULL STILL SHOULD'VE WON THE BEST PICTURE OSCAR FOR 1980!:! Thats all=D

I started watching License To Drive:

fantastic as ever

and i'm not just talking about jamie lee curtis' breasts.

Black Hawk Down. It was ok...worth seeing I guess, but kind of long. Really great sound, however, the gunfire and helicopters sounded great in surround.
