*Note* I was foraging through some stuff earlier, and found this poem I wrote several years ago back in my early high school years. A couple of people I considered friends sold me out to join the "in" crowd, and well, here's the result once my initial rage died down.
I sit here waiting
Patiently for that day to come
It was those who were my friends
Those who are now my enemies
Because I was myself
Because I would not give in
I stare at the knife on the table
The one I drew out of my back
The one I had carved their coffins with
Patience is much better than hate
Death comes swift for fools like them
So again I sit here waiting
Caskets beside me
Shovel pitched into the dirt
For I know I'll have the last laugh
