Fingers on the doorway once again
whispers in the shadows calling you now
take a breath and walk the lines between
there's nothing here you want to figure out

saw the small creature standing there, staring at you,
eyes unblinking, black vortices that speak such bitter truths
all you've got left in your defense is apathy and ignorance
you'll go as far as you can go until the insanity brings it all
crashing down like it has a thousand times before

ignore the baby floating in the jar
ignore the future, ignore what they are
forget the dead, forget the desert scenes
run away and find a way to bleed

there's so much more than this, live it up while its still around
there's too much more to this and you can't find a way to get out
ignore the demonic laughter you try and muffle out of your mind
sent by the visions that stole your life and darken your eyes

you thought you were gray now, but your skin turns a shade of blue
add the red you see now, a step away from the violet hue
open that eye now, you never feel the same with just two
look up to the sky now, to see the little fucker staring back down at you
