LASIK and LSD (or any hallucinogens really)

So I am scheduled to get LASIK surgery next Friday and was wondering if anybody has experience with tripping AFTER having LASIK (3-6 months later.. Or ever.). Anybody think this is a bad idea?

Also, anybody with LASIK, feel free to tell other experiences/feelings with other substances.

At first glance I thought you were asking about tripping during the surgery but I'm glad that's not the case. You should be fine I don't think it'll affect it in any way.

How about smoking pot before the surgery to ease the anxiety? Think it might effect the surgery?

I wouldn't do this...pot does mess with the blood vessels in your eye to some degree, and they are doing surgery ON YOUR EYE. I have not had Lasik (nor need it, I wear glasses but my prescription isn't too bad, mostly correcting for astigmatism) BUT I know a couple psychonauts who have had it, and they had no problems continuing their business after the surgery. Also, my friends that had this procedure said they were given valium beforehand, when they arrived at the place that was going to do the surgery, to help their anxiety...so it seems like a common practice to do that.
