Lan Gaming

Hey, i just got a network sorted out at my house between me and my housemate, just wondered if there are any good games you guys recommend for playing over the lan either co-operating to defeat a foe like rts or shooting against ai.. in perhaps a story mode too.. or any other games you think are extremely good fun when played over a LAN between two people?

would love to hear your guys recommendations!

Good ol' fashion Half-Life, Starcarft, Red Alert, Counter-Strike, Tribes(2), Battlefield 1942(etc), FEAR, and many more. Good times have been had with those ones. 2 person LAN would be fine with a couple of those games. The more the Merrier.
