Heroin lack of tar in the midwest

Hi everyone, new here not sure if this ? has been done to death. Why is there no tar here (midwest), not complaining about the powder just wondering why and what I'm missing out on. How do they compare to each other. Seems to be plenty of mexican brown but no tar I don't get it.
