Lacing

"lacing" is an amateur notion and is usually extremely rare and might only happen in cases of people being incredibly naiive about drugs.

I'm stone cold sure that if some extra powder was on my weed I would be able to identify it by eye.

Wrong forum to dude, maybe in Other Drugs? but really theres nothing to worry about and whoever put the notion of "lacing" drugs in your mind does not know what they are on about... just another silly rumour that travels and sticks with the drug community.

Other than that, the ol' "Know your drugs, know your source" mantra is there for a reason. As mentioned above though, it's a vanishingly rare occurence. Drugs are expensive - folks don't tend to add extra of something entirely different to what you've paid for cos it's bad biznizz practice and you'd lose money on it along with your customers. With most drugs, it just doesn't happen.
 
The first time I smoked weed, I saw people glowing & stuff. After smoking more i learned that it wasnt a normal occurance. just curious what it could have been from
 
The first time I smoked weed everything turned sideways and purple and my vision completely dissolved and I couldn't hear or feel anything like I was in a fucking isolation tank...... but that shit wasn't laced.

Also, this thread is definitely in the wrong area.
 
Probably. When you experience a drug for the first time you have no tolerance, and will probably never get that high again, or if you do it will take a lot more, or you will have to wait a long time. Some people report that they don't get high the first time they smoke weed. I tend to think this is because most people get high for the first time on shwag, and just get tired and hungry. You smoke some grade your first time and you'll probably trip face. I was in A-dam and smoked about 1/4g of high end hydro through a dirty ass bong, my first time. Threw up in the street and shit. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that you didn't get dosed with anything too sinister.
 
The first time I smoked weed I saw sat on a quarter pipe for almost 3 hours watching people skateboard. Everything was going slooow motion then rewinding and everything seemed so trippy.

Shit wasn't laced.
 
Glowing people, yeah IMO definitely possible with weed. Without tolerance mostly though so yes your first time is great considering that.

It's subjective though, often enough when I was high (I kind of quit smoking weed after years of it) I saw things glowing more in a sense, though only occasionally was it as intense as with something like psilocybe mushrooms. So you need to have a frame of reference to compare it in the first place.

I bet it was just your first time, what other things is weed sometimes laced with I ask? PCP is possible but quite uncommon unless maybe in certain areas. Also, they will probably tell you and charge you extra! Something like cocaine is too expensive. Actually as good as all things are too expensive to potentiate weed with! So a side-question to people here: what have you ever heard of that weed was laced with?
Really, weed is practically/almost never laced. Out of the ordinary experiences can be traced back to set & setting. (Those pretty much include tolerance or first times :) )

PCP causes far more fucked up effects than glowing people, I've never tried it but it really seems like it would be out of the question that it were only weed! That's why I mention it... so considering I wouldn't know what weed is ever laced with that could cause psychedelic effects it makes it all the more probable to me that it was just your first intense try.

With the upcoming synthetic cannabinoids I can see how seriously shitty weed is potentiated to astronomical levels and not that expensively... but I have never heard of it.

Lacing is extremely unlikely. Why would someone waste money on giving you more drugs? If anything they are going to cut your drugs with inert substances (or possibly toxic as with the recent cuts with coke).

Also, only buy from people you trust. I understand it isn't practical for the average user to send their drugs into a lab to get gc-ms results, but if you only buy people you trust, you should be more than likely alright. Also talk to the other customers who may have experience with the compound in question.
 
yeah, i talked to my friends that smoked it with me. they all thought i was crazy. must just have been because it was my first time.


so it is more likely drugs would be cut with something that has other substances on it than the drugs being laced?
 
any powders and e pills could be cut with cheaper drugs, as with liquids. But stuff like weed is very unlikely. Like...not likely at all. And after many trips, smoking still trips me out. Its nice. Embrace it. And all honesty if its like weed, if it looks shitty, it is.
 
one possibility now a days that I have not yet seen happen, but it still seems likely to be the most possible of all known possibilities is that people could lace schwag with synthetic canabinoids and try to pass it off as something better... but it still seem impractical.

Now if there is a strain of weed that LOOKS like dank as fuck nugs, smells like dank as fuck nugs, and yields significantly more than dank as fuck nugs then we might start to see this happening , but even though its the most possible situation where it could occur, IMO, its still extremely unlikely
 
I Had weed laced with PCP once and I did not know it was laced. I was at a party and someone packed me a bowl since i was going to let them use my bong. I was an experienced smoker and weed never did that to me before, I did not know what it was that I had smoked, I just knew it was more than weed alone. At the time I was naive and thought it was laced with LSD. Later I learned this was not possible. I have confirmed that it was in fact PCP after I tried PCP and had the same effects. Immediately, I was reminded of that incident when I smoked the PCP, this time knowing it was PCP since the feeling was all too familiar.

As stated earlier though, its highly unlikely anyone would lace their weed, its just not cost effective. people do ad stuff to their personal stashes, but its rare to have someone sell you laced weed. Unless of course its some really shitty shwag that they glorified by lacing it with JWH so that people actually think its good.
 
Well ofcourse, but if you look at his second post I think it was evident he (and I) was referring to that.
