Lab Analysis

Does anyone know of a lab that you could safely send a substance to for analysis? Keep in mind that the substances are likely controlled and I would like to have the tests done anonymously. I'd like to have a smoking blend (*snip*) that I really like tested, so I know exactly what cannabinoids it contains. I also have a few different batches of "molly" that all have different effects, so they can't all be mdma. There is one I enjoy much more than others that I suspects isn't mdma but something close that I like much better. Any help would be appreciated.

-Thanks

there are labs in the Netherlands that do this.

a few tips though.
do not, i repeat, NOT include any names of products and/or blends.
i'd remove that incense brands name before a mod sees this and closes it.

if you like synthetic cannabinoids, but smoke the bagged and branded "blends",
im sorry to say, but you are an idiot.
just buy some pure JWH-xxx's etc and learn which one you prefer,
that way you arent risking overdosing and experiencing very adverse effects.
and also you will know precisely how much you are ingesting and of which exact compound.

no big deal, jus' sayin'...
..for the sake of Harm Reduction, and all that jazz...

for the molly you can try ecstasydata.org Its pretty cheap for tablets, more expensive for powders.

I'm not sure where you could send the smoking blend. I'd probably just try some various JWH's, CP's and/or AM's, as its much cheaper. However, it is extremely easy to smoke way too much way too fast with pure cannabinoids. Much moreso than with blends IME. With pure chemicals you need to be really good with a milligram scale & a base pipe. I'm normally not a fan of products that don't list their ingredients, but it has proven to be one of the safer ROA's for cannabinoids.

any major dude: you can make your own smoke blends by dissolvng the JWH in a solvent, spraying it over some smokeable plant matter and letting it dry. It's waaaaaay cheaper than buying those crazy expensive smoke blends, kinda like buying supplements in bulk powder and capping it yourself as opposed to buying a bottle of gelcaps.

It's not that easy, even if you were in the Netherlands like me - the lab would still need to have reference samples for the cannabinoids which they probably don't.

So you likely won't get anywhere. thus.... listen to sega.

oh i've done it plenty of times myself. More trouble than most people are willing to go to though. Also, the spraying method isn't very reliable, i prefer to use a dropper ;)

And to the OP, some smaller companies will disclose their ingredients if you ask, and on other internet forums you can find information on specific blends.

My apologies to the mods for listing the brand name of the incense. It's been a while since I've been a regular poster on BL. It wont happen again. @ Sega420, you should read some of my other posts before you make assumptions about my intelligence. I have jwh-018, jwh-250, jwh-073, and have tried quite a few others. As far as harm reduction goes, I have a scale that is accurate to 1mg. My current legal situation prevents me from smoking my preferred organic cannabinoid. I make my own smoking blends using raspberry leaves, acetone, and jwh mixtures. The reason I would like to have the commercial smoking blend that I mentioned analyzed, is because I've yet to find the synthetic cannabinoid that produces the same effects that the commercial blend provides. Once I've identified what the blend has been laced with I intend to acquire the active ingredient and produce it myself. I'll admit it's been a while since I've been a regular contributor to BL, but this forum seems to have taken a change for the worst since meph and others have taken the forefront in the psychedelic community. I never remember members of BL being so quick to insult other members in the past. I thought we were all here to build and learn from one another? This is supposed to be a supportive community where like minded people can share information. Thanks to those of you who actually attempted to answer my questions. -Peace

@ any major dude, I've found a syringe works well for providing an even distribution over the plant material. I first determine how much acetone it takes to saturate a gram of the particular plant material. Then multiply that amount by how many grams of smoking blend you'd like to make. Add your jwh, cp, etc. according to your desired potency and then spray it evenly over the plant material until it is saturated completely. Stir and allow to dry.

cool, i use an oral syringe like one would use for an infant. I'd also recommend using ethanol or isopropyl alcohol over acetone as the latter seems to make the smoking material a bit harsh. And i have a preference for ethanol because it is at least food safe. If none of the cannabinoids you mentioned have effects similar to the brand you like, i'd suggest procuring some AM-694 or any CP's you can find. I think 49,497 (IIRC) has been used in a number of mass produced blends, and 55,940 is supposedly one of the most enjoyable cannabinoids out there.. The JWH 250 081 combo seems to be getting quite popular as well.
