Stimulants L- Arginine and Amphetamine

Regarding the mix of L-arginine to offset vasoconstrictive amphetamine effects, I have heard that a vasodilator is dangerous in combination with amphetamine, as they may speed up the heart to a dangerous level. (Despite lowering blood pressure).

I'm curious if anyone knows whether L-Arginine is a safe vasodilator for combating amphetamine vasoconstriction. Would it have the same effects as other vasodilator or is it actually helpful for the heart as other sources claim.

This has nothing to do with erectile dysfunction. It's more so to halt/lessen the damage to the heart during amphetamine use.

I used to take supplemental L-Arginine with Amphetamine, I'd train on it. Shit gets you shredded with everything done correctly. NO supplements.

I use l-arginine both with and without amphetamines. Have had no problems. It's part of my daily supplement "stack".

Seeing as ARG is a dietary amino acid, I cannot imagine taking it in reasonable doses (less than 10gm at a time) would do any harm.

The logic behind avoiding vasodilators is that a decrease in blood pressure will cause your heart to compensate by increasing heart rate. Unfortunately every vasodilator will do this to some extent, because it's a natural protection mechanism to avoid your blood pressure falling so low you faint.

Common vasodilators combined with amphetamine are THC, ethanol, caffeine/theophylline/theobromine. I think most of those are reasonably safe if dosed appropriately.

Just monitor your BP so it doesn't get too low, if possible. If you notice your headspace "changes" when you stand up then you should either tone back the amphetamine or the vasodilator.
