B. If you REALLY wanted to support the scene you would not ask to be let in for free, you pay just like eveyone else. C. I am fucking sick and tired of people I don't know and have no connection with, professional or otherwise, looking for a free ride. For this show alone I must have received 50 emails from various "promoters" asking to be let in for free. The answer: NO!
Now, as for Pharmy: I tried to be cordial with you via my reply email and explain to you what was going on. I WAS having a very bad day (my response to you would have been the same, however, even if I was having the best day of my life). I even wished you luck. But you had to take your petty problems onto my thread. Just to remind everybody, this thread is for the promotion and general big-uppance of Broken, not for bitching and promoting your second rate party. Any further attempts on this thread at advertising for some other show will be deleted.

in Nate's defense, he is not a bad guy. i have much respect for him and everything he does to help build our scene in Louisville.
i have to agree with what he said about paying your way in. that's what support is. just showing your face at a party is not going to help pay for the next one.

Hey its kool I totally agree with you also.........and
I do support the WHOLE Mid=west and have for
almost 5 years now.........I usually pay for everything
I do EVERYTHING.......I dont need any hand outs but
it doesn't hurt to ask.
I just know that my party being the night after yours
it would REALLY help me out to be able to flyer. I also
am driving 2 hours and gas isn't free either........I just
thought I would ask........you can talk to anyone who
knows me in the MID=west and they will tell you that
I am VERY kind to those that are kind to me..........I
bend over backwards to take care of my peeps
weather there my best friend or if I barely know them.
PERIOD..........I do right by people..........
If you were going to tell me NO anyway why did you
use the excuse that you had a bad day??? Why not
be straight and tell me NO>..........

well no offense... up here and everywhere else... if your deep in the scene and you contact with a two week prior notice, you get guestlisted if you have propper credentials... we know what its like to lose money on an event, yet we still do it... i know how much gas i have spent flyering around the midwest and budget is tight so yeah i expect to be able to get guest list and not be harrassed by security and shit... we'd offer the same for any one who is down at our events up here...
for once this is no hate from me so dont take it that way.. im just tryin to tell you where pharmy is comin from... all my experiences in louisville i think i have been guestlisted once even though i have tried many times... as such i havent been able to get down there much, and when you meet fellow promoters and shit and lock things down, you know that they are gonna rep you in their city, then you would have more dollar signs, i mean party kids to take in...
this party looks dope... jen said she'd get back to me this week some time...
as for saturday pharmy, you know ill take flyers down, and ill try to make it... i usually have late departures from marea's crib... and im seein harry potter on that saturday, so i might be there tired hungover and late but ill make it...
