Deep Blue Presents: BROKEN

Dj Icey
-For the Love of the Beat Tour/ /Breaks
Rising to worldwide prominence out of the fertile Orlando electronic music scene which has spawned the likes of Kimball Collins, Jimmy Van M, Chris Fortier, and Baby Anne, Icey cut his teeth at the legendary EDGE nightclub in the mid-90s, and even persuaded The Chemical Brothers to play their first show Stateside there. When The Edge closed in 1996, DJ Icey hit the road… and has stayed on it since.

You know the drill. Hot ass breaks with Teddy's signature flows. A crowd favorite since their debut. We will be featuring a breakin' contest during their set if we have enough b-people, so spread the word!
Dj Sphinx vs. Deceit

Not only is this a CD release party for the dynamic duo, but -holy bat tits!- this may be one of the last times you get to see them perform in Louisville! Make sure to show up early and see these guys get down, it'll be a show stopper (hopefully not really). Expect dope beats and free CDs!
Second Stage
Nigel Richards
-nigelrichards.com /611records.com
*Special Olde Schoole Acid Set!!*
Having opened one of the nation's best record stores, 611, in 1993, Nigel has been around the dance scene for quite a while. Back in the mid nineties when he traveled all over the world dropping hard techno, acid, and ravola jams, things were a bit different. Well, we are bringing him back for this event for one reason only: To RE-KINDLE the old school feelings with a strictly old school set. None of his records will be post 1996 in this set and many will date back into the 80's acid house days. Enjoy the journey as one of the pioneers takes us on a ride thru time measured in music.
The Punisher
-Seismic Records/ /Techno
The Punisher became known for the minimalist sound used in her sets. She created her own label in 1997, Seismic Records who has hosted remixes for Misstress Barbara, as well as songs from Richie Hawtin, Dave Clark, T-1000, among many other musicians. Her popularity has given her a spot as a guest DJ on the new satellite XM Radio.
The Stranger
-Inciteful Audio/Hook and Pull Studios/ /Ragga Jungle and Drum and Bass
Formerly of ISS, the 'war pig' returns to make his solo debut in Louisville. Still true to the turntablist approach to drum and bass, The Stranger blends the latest ragga jungle, classic anthems, and original dubplates with his signature scratching and mixing styles. Keeping busy with clubs and events throughout northern Ohio, he's continued to master and expand his craft as a DJ, producer, song writer, and multi instrumentalist. Now he's excited to show Louisville what he's been working on! Don't miss the debut performance from this unique and talented musician.
The Lady Foursqare
-UFO Jeans/ /Funky Ass House
Locally, you may have seen this Slugger City homegirl rocking Derby-style with Trevor Lamont, but Foursquare is making national waves: catching the attention of UFO Jeans, playing ball with the big kids at Caveman Experience II and holding it down beside Paul Johnson after DEMF 2002. Catch this Hometown She-ro in the greatest city in the world.
