from what i can remember, i had a very good time.....i drank alittle too much and can't remember a whole lot of anything. um....its sunday and my car is still at the venue. i'm picking it up today. sorry if that was a problem, leaving it there.

wow.

I was at the door most of the night , so all i really heard was the main room which was... oh, iunno. FUCKIN BANGIN ALLLLLLLL FUCKIN NIGHT!
seriously, it's the first show in awhile that i needed earplugs, and that was about 1/2 hour in.

I personally don't like shiva's stuff (too hard for me) but other people liked it and i like HER!

Adam X -still too hard for me

Irene- easier on the ears but confusing (she played a tiesto record i had among other trance tracks...she went from hard bangin to trance? so confused. )

Woody- yuh know, he's super soft-spoken, he traveled alone, all around cool guy. His music was also fuckin' awesome! by the time he came on, i was a little more freed up at the door and chris and i went up front with shiva and basically headbanged our day's worth of stress and frustration out until we were smiling again... ahhhh, i needed that.

otherwise- i heard about 5 minutes of Assault and loved every minute of it and then some ronin selekta as well (with teddy mc). by that time i was too exhausted to really listen, but it was def. a fun room...the crowd was going nutz in there.

Holy Shit man! So, anyone that was there saw the huge wicked metal, back-lit sign on the mainstage that said "Wicked 2.0" - Bill did that. Bill did that while working mega hours at his real job. Bill, your work is amazing, you totally outdid yourself. THANK YOU!

The whole deep blue crew really worked their asses off and it showed. KY just doesn't *get* to have huge parties like that and actually break even... it's been a long damn time. good job y'all, I'm thrilled to work with you!

ps- shiva, yeah glowsticks suck. i have a bruise on my left shoulder from being hit with one full-speed.
 
my car won't be towed will it? i'm leaving at 3 to go get it. i just want to make sure with the promoters that they weren't towing people's cars?

yeah it was a banging party...lots of people were hit by glowsticks..i got burned by cigg's mostly...so that sucked...ive got like 3 burn marks on my hand...i had a blast ...me and steve was gettin the party crunk during irenes set...was that adam x that was up in irene's face trying to fight her...it is was...a big fuck you buddy...someone should kick your ass in the middle of your set.... there would be no tards if you banned glowsticks...so you would lose mad cash..think about it :P good party...we were the ones who brought the stripper =D HOLLA ~damoN~
 
From what I saw, Irene instigated that. If I was on my last record, and someone so disrespectfully backspins it to where it probably fucked up my vinyl, I'd be pissed. I really don't know what happened behind the decks after that. All I saw was arms flailing and shit talking. And to Ms. Irene...KEEP LINKIN PARK ON THE RADIO AND OUT OF OUR FUCKING SCENE! What the hell was that about? Overall, an entertaining night.

yeah well that guy was a smartass...whatever she was playin...people were gettin hype..it might have had soemthing to do with me and steve gettin the party jumpin...i was up on stage when that happened..you proubly seen my arms..i was right in the middle of it...i dont know what happened...but irene had been spinnin for a lil bit..i do believe...when he was cussing her...he is a pussy starting a fight with a gurl; and a smartass like i said...where is keith with his pictures... :) HOLLA ~damoN~
 
Ok, just to get a couple of things straight: This was not Adam's fault. It was Irene's. Adam was spinning, Irene showed up late, Adam offered her the decks, Irene started bitching at Adam about the CD player being on the wrong side of the decks, Adam tells Irene he is not her butler monkey, Irene goes up to Adam's record which is playing and backspins it hard enough to skip the needle across it and scratch it and makes a smart comment at Adam while doing so. Adam, infuriated (and quite rightly so), kicks over Irene's record bag, Irene picks up a Heineken bottle to hit Adam with, Adam prepares to defend himself. It was entirely Irene's fault. Adam was instigated and was only making sure that protected himself. Irene is a bitch and I will *NEVER* book her again. I have never had to deal with a bigger pain in the neck. She was acting like a 6 year old all night. So please, don't say anything bad about Adam. He is a good guy, and very professional.

Also, Damon, those glowsticks that you were throwing were not yours. They belonged to DJ Nimbus, who came to collect them later only to find them gone. I think you owe him an apology and some glowsticks. What the hell were you doing backstage anyway?

Amen, I love to hear a powerful guitar riff in some banging stuff every once in a while, because I too own and play the Cally and Juice remix of Blur "Song 2" but enough is enough, most of her tracks weren't even good remixes, just the singing over a basic beat. And did I hear Airwave in the middle of it?

Glad she won't be back. And glad to hear that your changing venues because of sound. Good choice.

To Lindz, yeah, I know who you are from pictures, but I hate introducing myself to people, still kinda shy when it comes to shit like that. You actually took my money. I wasn't in a costume, just a paintball jersey and macgear pants. But since I know you're looking out for me, I'll be sure to say hi.

Obuchitek, thanks for the record, and nice set. What is the record that you played with the huge bass?

Punisher did a great Live P.A. was surprised that she did so well with just three Korg boxes and a midi controller. Might have to pick a couple of those suckers up, and get into that.

Overall, I had a lot of fun. I had only slept 2 hours in the last 36, so all day saturday I was sick as a dog, but it was worth it. Thanks again Nate for a great party. YOu'll have to give me a mailing address so I can send you a demo, I'm kinda like Irene without all the shitty rock remixes and more plain out banging trance and techno.
 
I had a really good time I saw a lot of people i hadnt seen in a while . Irene was good brought back some very old memories , but personally i think the music in the second room was awesome. Assaults booty house was the shit and I couldnt believe how good Ronin Selecta (sorry if i spelled it wrong) I couldnt stop dancing it was a great end to the party. I would like to see a new venue!!! Keep throwing great parties!!!

Holy shit! Thats alot of complaining for a cool party.

I only got burnt by one cigarette - damn lp, i go to hug her and she goes to burn me. I see how it is. Yeah that glowstick thing can be bad - but you have to keep glowsticks around - for the sae of raver history! They've always been part of the scene :P

Me personally, i like lightstix :) (though i forgot mine at the hotel, fuck).

Wunderkind - dude - it was awesome meeting you - your mix is fucking awesome. I like #6 above all, but that last one is nice too (can i get names for all your pieces in a pm? Or do trance DJs not do that? I `don know).

Warriah - cool meeting you - even if it was just for a few minutes.

Umm.. I saw alot of you all other people-type-things, but if you ask anyway, im horrible w/names-faces, so.. umm..

I had an awesome time Friday night. I knew it would be fun but had no clue it would be that crazy. I didn't meet too many people cuz I was tryin to stay away from all the attention but I got to see everyone from back in the day and it was awesome! I'm glad to see that everyone is doin good!

Ok so who's ready for next year?
 
i just wanna say thanks to the deep blue crew, you guys never cease to amaze me! the attendance was sick! i was very satisfied with all of the djs well, except for irene. but i've never been an irene fan to begin with. the techno was great.. every single one of the djs rocked. DJ ASSAULT WHUT!! damn i shook my ass forever! Ronin and Teddy tore it up, i loved the lil john costume teddy! Woody is always great to see as well.
**glowsticks are wack!!** i just about got my head taken off by one, twice in about five minutes! whoever was throwing the glowsticks in the crowd at the beginning of irene's set should get bonked in the forehead with a couple of them. owww that shit hurts!!

all in all it was a good night! <3 to deep blue
 
I thought DJ Irene had a cool performance - she was kick'in it, not just spinning techno - but actually had a little dance or whatever. It was fun watching - and listening to music.

I saw'd `dem glowsticks being thrown from the main stage thing - is that what you all are talking about? I found it quite easy to avoid them - infact i got me a cool bright green one.

You'd have to be pretty fuck'd up to not see 'em coming at you *cough* *cough*.
 
some people are like that, believe that they are soooo much better then everyone else, but yet fail to realize that acting a fool tarnishes they're image and will have people say screw her.
