So i'm thinking of trying kratom seeing as it's all over a certain auction website. I Don't know too much about it and would like to ask a few questions please.

It all comes in powder form? is that all good? and would I be better off buying the 4 oz of 'pimp grade stuff for high price. Or better off buying quarter kilo of indinesian stuff for a bit less?

Also, how do I take it, what kind of effects will it produce...I did some googling but i'm either a spaz or too stoned to properly search, I apologize

Buy kratom from sites that sell kratom not auction sites, they will provide alot more info and will be able to help you via phone if you have problems. Also do some research man. I prefer Bali deviener powder or the tinctures. Indo isnt my favorite peoeple like it just not me.

There are 2 species of the Kratom plant. One is psychoactive and one is shit. Make sure you do some research before buying.

I personally think that as far as kratom goes, only the extract resins are worth it.. they taste like shit though. What i usually do is break off a chunk of kratom resin(consistency like hard toffee) squish and knead the resin into balls and stuff it into a 00 gelcap.. you only need about 2-3 grams of resin too get the desired effect. Works great as a potentiator for opiates or alcohol.

Kratom on its own has strong opiate effects and mixing it with other CNS depressants is as dangerous as mixing heroin with other CNS depressants.

Yea kratom is a strong herb. I find it better than alot of opiates. I would take kratom over hydrocodone anyday, and the resins suck. You get more bang for your buck using the actuall leaf. The resin just dosent give the same high.

i heard there really isnt a good way to measure the quality, so people saying they have "high grade" is sketchy. i have never done it before, but i am planning on ordering some next month and i will just be getting as much as i can for the cheapest price.

Get Bali dude, The other strains just cost more and dont sedate you as much. Bali is the cheapest and the best IMO.

h0ppinlowerider, thanks for the advice. I have always been confused about that. I don't like the stimulant/serotonergic effects, I like the sedating mu opioid effects. I'll make sure to get Bali leaf next time.

The extracts are NOT worth it if you plan on using more than once every week. They will shoot your tolerance through the roof. Moreover, the extracts don't capture the full spectrum of effects that plain leaf gives you.

If you get powder, there are a number of ways to take it. You can make a tea (and there are tons of recipes for this out there, check Erowid), toss 'n' wash (basically put the powder on your tongue and wash it down with water or juice), shake 'n' slam (put the powder in a small quantity of water or juice, shake it up so it doesn't settle and pound it quickly), etc.

The only thing about Bali is that a very small percentage of the population is very sensitive to it. These people get extremely dizzy and nauseous from even small amounts of the leaf. If you decide to get Bali, try a very small amount just to be sure before you go higher.

I find Indo about as sedating as Bali but with some brief stimulating effects in the beginning that most batches of Bali lack. I tend to stick with Indo since the quality of Bali from even the same vendor can vary and Indo has never failed me. What is called Indo is wild-harvested from older trees whereas Bali is grown commercially on farms.

And as h0ppinlowrider said, buy from established vendors and not auction sites. Building up a good relationship over time with a decent vendor will get you discounts, free samples, extra kratom, etc.

I saw that you said you are the kratom master.... Well, I am a first time user of Kratom and I want to make sure I do all the right things to get the best effect, so if you don't mind helping me I would greatly appreciate it.
Ok this is what I ordered 1 oz of Kratom leaves, I also printed out the kratom's User's Guide which has a recipe that I was planning on using, but I am not a math person and it says to use 50 grams of dried crushed kratom, my question to you is do you know about how many leaves that would be, do you think that is a good amount? It also says that it will make 8 to 16 mild doses that is a big difference and does it really store up to 5 days or does it loose its potency. Any help you can give me would be great!

I wanted to add one more thing, I was reading the posts again and saw people talking about bali being the best, well mine is called wild kratom (mitragyna speciosa) has anyone tried this type?

does anyone get pretty nauseous with kratom?? it gives me a bit of a stomachache even though i love the effects. weed usually takes care of that but i dont smoke anymore.

I chewed up and ate 10g of kratom leaf I got from a local headshop and got a nice buzz. I couldn't stop chain smoking.

man i tried this stuff a while back when i couldnt find any opiates. the first time i tried it i had the 10X extract powdered leaf and i threw like three small scoops of it into some gatorade shook it and downed that shit. 30 minutes later it felt like i had taken 25 mg of hydrocone man that shit was sick. so i started doing it all the time. it lost its effect like 2 weeks into it and now it sucks. in the end it made me dizzy to the point of not being able to drive. it wasnt fun at all. i could spin around in circles for minutes and get the same effect s from kratom. if i were to stay clean for a long time i can imagine id get a good high again but im trying to stay away from opiates at the time being....

does kratom's nausea go away after puking?? i havent actually tried yet. i get nauseous from kratom and i never get nauseous from opiates. although i used to... (hmmm..) maybe a higher opiate tolerance would lead to less nausea from kratom. because as my opiate tolerance went up i got less and less nausea from opiates themselves.
