This is seriously the worst ive ever had it. After about five months use i decided to quit kratom for good bc it was consuming my life, not working anymore as tolerance had grown, and was costing me over 150 $ a week. Ive done the opiate wds off of much longer use and the physical wds are much worse but the mental depression kratom causes from not happening is the worst thing ive ever had to experience. I cry about everything. I feel alone.... bored and anxiety ridden. I am finally getting about 5 hours of sleep which is good and i havent had kratom for about 7-10 days (roughly) if anyone has any insight on how to deal with this.... please reach out through this thread. Thank you

what kind of effects does kratom have on the mind and emotions anyways?

a friend of mine was attempting to convince me to experiment with it but I disagreed with his coercive tactics.

CaptainKratom already gave you a nice recipe for dealing with that in the other thread. Basically, if you're not going to use any other substances to alleviate symptoms there is nothing anybody else can do to help you, we cant get inside your head via the internet from our couches, and even if we could you would still be the only one in charge of anyhing in there. I feel for you, but other than saying good luck and stick with it untill you quit it, there's just not a whole lot else I can do. I really do wish you all the best of luck though, and I would consider taking some etizolam though, it does not have as addictive a profile as most other true benzo's and still is superior imo for anxiety/depression. I have been using it as needed for about half a year, often a week or more of daily or even 2-3 times daily dosing, never had wd's and I had two weeks totally clean from them untill 3 days ago.

I havent seen that thread. Thank you. I also have to add that i was feeling some extreme discomfort a few days ago so i purchased some good indica to try and help me sleep. When im stoned all is well... sleep is good and i kinda zone out for a bit. But, my achy legs seems to hurt more on pot and also as soon as im coming down i get super emotional. I think the good ol MJ is making the depression worse. I smoked one time today and had to turn to one of my loved ones for guidance and that was the biggest help of all. So i think im gonna chill out on the pot for now. It seems to be doing more harm than good tbh

^Read the first two pages of that thread, seems like pure gold for anyone quitting kratom, good find :) Very informative and a prime example of what this site is all about, being there for each other. I actually feel somewhat ashamed of myself for kind of dismissing TKO in that way now... Sorry dude... Should have been more supportive and less dismissive. I'm going to finish reading that thread now, just wondering though, since this was over a year ago, is Pods-No-More a counsellor or something by now?

If you have not experenced other opiate WD then kratom can be just as bad. Opiate withdraw really sucks, man. Smoking weed will help a little, drinking chamomile tea, *small* amounts of benzos, immodium will dull WD for most people, exercising lightly if you feel up to it.
There are tons of other stuff just seach this website and others for help through withdraws.

Good luck friend
